My primary qualification and field of study was in civil engineering, but also pursued career opportunities in
other industries where I gained experience in Change Management in the mining sector installing business
management systems in different organizational levels, from top management to the lower levels.
While doing this as a consultant with various mining companies I also gained a lot of insight in underground
gold mining as well as on the gold beneficiation plants.
My interest in IT and Computer Aided Design (CAD) led me to become a solutions consultant for various
CAD resellers for the engineering sector.
Saw an opportunity to assist clients with staffing solutions and opened my own company called Scorpex
Recruitment. Joined forces with Braddick Engineering and offer a staffing and engineering solution to our
clients.

To capture the admin side of the sales cycles I have used various CRM systems and am always aware of what
needs to be done next to a successful close of business deal.
I am a diligent worker that is self-motivated and can self manage to get results.
I am also a quick learner of new concepts.
Also have good knowledge in project management and am a team player.
I have very good interpersonal skills and can deal with people on different organisational levels.
To communicate with people comes naturally to me. I have a vast network of people that I have build up
during my sales career and has an open door policy with all of them. They range from MD’s of manufacturing
companies to key people in very large organisations like De Beers and Afrox also Denel. My presentation and
consultative selling skills are very good and I can do presentations for a large group of people in an
auditorium or in a office boardroom setup. My ability to follow up on leads and re-engage with older leads to
turn them into a sale is a strong asset in the skills that I possess.
The engineering field was always my field of interest and I am never afraid to learn new skills.
