27. C-TPAT program was created on 2001 by USA Government to safeguard the world´s
trade industry from terrorists, maintaining the economic health of the U.S. and it´s
neighbors.
Siemens and GE are some of the most important Braden Customers that are C-TPAT
certified.

30. Foreign Trade overview
Braden Mexico as part of the Maquiladora Program is
allowed to do business with US entities importing raw
material (9 months) and fixed assets (indefinitely) under
temporary basis to manufacture finish goods and export
them back to the US with better fiscal and customs benefits
compared to domestic companies.
Gmex was created as a domestic company for Bmex to
comply as maquiladora and be able to keep having
domestic sales.
