THE ALPHABET
TOM AND HIS TEACHER SPEAK ABOUT THE ALPHABET:
Tom and his teacher are speaking about “The Alphabet”
Tom asks to his teacher Is the alphabet equal in Spanish and English I want to know about it?
The teacher answers him . The writing is equal, but the pronunciation is different and we can use
capital letters and small letters to write it. Look!
Capital letter = A-B-C …
Small letter = a-b-c …
The writing is equal, now look the speaking (pronunciation)
A (ei), B (bi), C (si), D(di), E(i), F (ef), G (yi), H (eich), I (ai), J(yei), K (kei), L(el), M (em), N(en) O (ou),
P (pi), Q(quiu), R(ar ), S (es), T(ti), U(iu), V(vi), W(dabliu), X (ex), Y(uay), Z(zi). The speaking is different.
Now when I say : How do you spell your name? It refers the writing of the word example your name is
Tom, the spell is T-O-M, but if I say How do you spell the sound of your name? it refers the speaking
your name is Tom it is (ti-ou-em).
You can use the alphabet to spell all the words.
