Refining (Grooming) – common understanding of the work
Sprint Planning – identify the work to do in the next iteration
Stand Up – make sure the team is on the same page
Demo – look what we did

Process
Sprint / Iteration – fixed amount of time to finish the next increment of work
Scrum – method where work is done in iterations
Velocity – how much work the team does in an iteration
Kanban – method where work flows continuously
Cycle Time – average time for a work item to finish
BVIR – Big Visible Information Radiators
Burn Down – shows iteration progress
Burn Up – same as burn down but highlights scope change
Resource – servers, money, chairs…not people

Product
User Story – Smallest unit of work that the customer values
Task – what the team needs to do to finish a User Story
Bug – problem with the product
Spike – necessary research resulting in a POC
Tech Debt – work to clean up a short cut taken in a previous iteration
Backlog – ranked list of User Stories, Tasks, Bugs, Spikes, Tech Debt
Road Map – order and estimated time when features will finish
