Duties / Responsibilities
Ships Agency positions
Full range of Ships Agency services, including :
Arranging Customs and other clearances for vessels; Attending to all husbandry requirements for vessels;
Liaising with all relevant authorities; Arranging pre-plan meetings, daily on-board meetings, coordinating
cargo loading/discharging; Quoting on forthcoming business/enquiries; ISO Management and compliance;
Ensuring service levels maintained in terms of international best practices and in line with Client
specifications, ISO and statutory requirements, and that all functions carried out in an efficient, effective,
controlled and measurable manner; Vessel fund management and supplier invoice control.
Other positions
Maintaining Municipal rates ledgers, issuing of Rates Certificates, dealing with the general public in respect
of rates queries; General clerical duties; Interpreting clients’ needs, in order to design forms for printing;
Planning, costing and estimating print jobs; Auditing consumer goods for market research; Sales targets
always met or exceeded; Traffic control, crime prevention and maintenance of city bylaws.
