Removeddamaged /failedplaster.Salvaged all lathe and used in otherareas. Plasteredentire
inside ofthe home back to original withGypsum plasterand veneerwhite coat. ( Fordice
Construction) National Park service was very involvedwiththe project.
2.) “Spengler’sCorner” Builtin1840s the oldestknown Commercial Buildingstill standingin the
Capital Cityof Jackson Ms. Appliedexteriorstuccoto entire buildingandapplieda newfinish
coat withan Old worldLook. OwnerJohn Author Eaves Senior(The buildingisused for hislaw
firm.) We have completedsimilarprojectsfor Mr. Eaves on several buildingshe owns in
downtown Jackson.
3.) FondrenPres Church Jackson, MS. Ca. 1940s Removedfailedplasterbehindthe main organ.
The organ pipeswere removedand the walls behindthe organ were repairedwith gypsum
plaster and re coated with a veneerwhite coat. (Churchacted as contractor )
4.) BellesLettresHall Alcorn University. Ca.1851 NeoClassic Rivival Style. We removedfailed
plaster on all walls which were brick. We then plasteredall walls, ceilingswithgypsum plaster
and re coated with veneerwhite coat. This job is very similarwith the Shakelford Home.The
walls were brick and the stucco materials and restoration mirrors what is proposedin the
estimate for the ShakelfordHome. ( Mayrant Construction)
5.) Crystal Springs,MS original High school.Ca 1920s We restoredall the plaster on the ceilings
and walls, beamsthough out in the auditorium.Original plastercornice was replacedwith
new plastercornice to match existinginseveral areas. ( Flagstar Construction )
6.) Madison-RidgelandPublicSchool Ca. 1910 MontgomerySt Madison,MS. All the failedand old
plaster was removedfrom walls.This happenedover many years of neglect,leaks,ETC. We
applieda gypsum plaster base coat to all the wallsand applieda sandedfinishcoat, and
sponge floatedthe finishcoat to match what was originallyin the School house.( Interiors
and Beyond Construction)
7.) “The Lowery Home” Ca. 1870 Home of GovernorRobert Lowery. THE PROJECT IS IN PROGRESS
AT THE PRESENT TIME. The home has beenrelocatedtwice in the past. We are demoingold
plaster,and re install gypsum plasterwith a veneerfinishcoatto match the original plaster
that was in the home. All ceilingjoisthave beenre workedand made true and level,andnow
that we have completedthat the plasteron ceilingswill soon be going up.. Movingthe home
2. took its toll and the structure and the plaster.The project ismoving along and is reallygoing
to be great whenit is completed.Please feel free togo look at the progress and the
