1. I am an engineer holding a master’s degree in Engineering Physics and another
master’s degree in Business Administration. My professional experiences originate
from R&D in the pharmaceutical, energy, consulting, and software engineering
industries. I have worked close to world class scientists and I have experience from
working abroad for many years.
My main interests are in the fields of Technology, Software Engineering, and
Business Processes, all in connection with R&D. Now, I am looking for a position
where I will learn a lot, preferably in a big R&D focused international organisation.
As I am an engineer in physics I am very interested in ESS and MAX IV.
Recently, I have served as Senior Scientist working with system implementation in
a pre-clinical environment at a world class pharmaceutical company. Before then, I
was a Senior Clinical Data Programmer at a Biometrics department, and earlier I
was a Statistical Programmer. A decade ago, I have served as a team leader,
managing five software engineers, at a small company that focused on the Biotech
Industry. Unfortunately, that company went bankrupt. Before then, I was a senior
consultant, at a company – Q-labs, that focuses on managing software risk and
quality. In the times between, I have been a student of Business Law and Business
Administration in order to improve my legal and commercial abilities.
In 1987, I become an AstraZeneca employee, before then I was a Software
Engineer with fifteen years Software Engineering experience. I provided for
Information Technology at an R&D department at AstraZeneca, where I developed
skills in planning, budgeting, purchasing, operating, user training, implementing,
coordinating, supporting, maintaining, documentation, and integration of
information systems in preclinical and regulated environments. In addition to this, I
participated in task forces within the company and cooperated with other
departments. During my final year at AstraZeneca, I served as an application
manager supporting pre-clinical R&D.
My first job was as a development engineer at a consultant company, where I
developed software for technical and economical calculations on district heating
distribution networks and natural gas distribution and transmission networks.
Besides that, I used that software as a consultant investigating and analysing
present and future energy systems, district heating networks, and natural gas
networks, along with maintaining customer contacts and negotiating contracts. My
next job was as a systems analyst at a power supply company where I developed
software to administrate and evaluate power distribution networks.
During my final years as a student at Lund Institute of Technology, I worked as an
assistant lecturer, at the Department of Computer Science, teaching engineering
students a first course in computer programming. As an officer of the army reserve,
I have served first as platoon leader, and after that as a quartermaster of a
battalion, responsible for the supplies for military units of first 800 men and later
1500 men.
