COLLOIDS DISPERSION (SMEDDS) Presented By- ROHIT R.K.S.D college of pharmacy, Kaithal (Hry) M.Pharma 1st year (Pharmaceutics)
Stability of colloids Lyophobic colloids; These are thermodynamically unstable & tends to form aggregates . •DLVO Theory (Derjaguin, landau, Verway, Overbeek Theory); according to this theory , the distance between two dispersed particles mainly influences particle-particle interactions . Using this theory , one can approximately determine the amount of electrolyte required to precipitate or stabilised a colloids.
