2. Responsibilities
Spearheading MEP Services teams & coordination for MEP services activities in multiple
industry segments with various alternatives.
In design build contract, the work performed –
Feasibility & concept study of the project
Formulation and freezing of Owners Project Requirement (OPR)
Formulation of RFP for design/service consultants
Evaluation & on boarding of design/service consultants
Evaluation and on boarding of stakeholders .
Finalising the design as per project requirement for all services in tandem.
Supporting client to obtain all statutory approvals for entire infrastructure.
Effective deliverables from respective stakeholders and providing value added services
facilitating efficient, time bound and quality Project Management which includes –
Complete design validation.

Prequalification of contractors

Analysis, reframe and finalisation of tenders cost comparisons
Support the client for techno commercial negotiations & zeroing prospective vendor.

Conducting & owning review meetings
Co-ordination and control with architects, all service consultants and vendors for trouble
shooting and smooth execution of project in time , budgeted cost with quality based on tracked
MSP/ P 6 schedule .
Evaluation, finalisation, documentation and freezing of project completion report (PCR) and
handing over documents for archival.

22. Retrospective learning's in my career
Detail study of clients requirement needs to be understood before start of design. This will
avoid the reworking on the design aspects.
The BOQ prepared should be crystal clear matching the specifications and drawings to avoid
incremental cost in project budget during execution.
The contract documents should be very clear specifying the detail contract conditions to avoid
any further claims by vendor.
The exact coordination between all services from design to execution considering the site
conditions is must.
While finalising the CAPEX items , selection and suggestion of vendors should be proper by
consultant's to avoid confusion of client
The Inspection of the CAPEX equipment's should be done considering the site conditions and
the design done.
Selection of vendor should be perfect to achieve the project time , cost & quality.
Before suggesting any new options to client detail study of the market trend is to carried out
in detail.
Project deliverables should be the passion till completion to maintain the ownership of the
project.
