Rob Johnson – MSc, MCIPD
Rob Johnson has over 20 years’ learning and development experience
specialising in leadership and management development. Rob worked in several
Public Sector businesses as Head of Learning and Development roles before
joining Instep in 2002 as Consultant at the Award winning Vimto Academy. He
left the business in April 2014 after a highly succesful 3 years as Managing
Director of the business to set up his own business,Triangle Learning and
Development. Rob’s Consultancy work sees him utilise his practical leadership
experience to support leaders to achieve their potential and influence. Working
with managers of all levels Rob has a very informal delivery style, and uses a
wide range of anecdotes and examples when facilitating groups or delivering training. On a one-to-one
basis Rob has provided Executive Coaching to Senior Leaders in a wide range of businesses.
Rob’s main area of expertise lies in Performance Management (where succesfully completed an Msc in
2004) and he has a real passion for working in partnership with clients to achieve results at every
opportunity and support learners to transfer their learning back into the workplace. When working with
clients Rob’s aim is to challenge thinking, and offer alternative views or ideas that help a client to achieve
results from any training and development delivered. Rob’s recent design and delivery projects have seen
him work with a range of clients including Trafford Housing Trust, Warburtons, Moy Park, Translink,
Eastlands Housing, John West, MW Brands, Chorley MBC, Burnley MBC, Vestas, Booth Ventures and
Eddie Stobart BrandVista.
