The entry to the complex is through a long axis which ends up in facing a blank wall.
One is forced to turn, go down a flight of brick paved steps and turn then again to enter
the main wide flight of steps rising up ever so slowly towards the framed entrance to the
library.

in also designed by Rahul Mehrotra.
It is a linear structure with an adjacent open air eating
area.
The first floor is a landscaped ramp up, partly with a
series of wide temple-like steps.

15. Hussain-Doshi Gufa Museum
It is an underground spaces.
This Gufa looks like a sculpture of domed shells finished
in dazzling china mosaic.
One enters the space through a staircase which is partly
hidden, through a circular door and reaches the surreal
cavern like space.

North Lawns – Surrounding Area
• This location is commonly known as North Lawn as they face north direction.
• The entry to campus is also located on this side. This particular place has many species
of trees, shrubs, and grass.
• There are huge Neem and Arjuna tree which are habitat to many species like parrot, owl,
kite, myna, etc.
• Also the litter on ground below the trees is not cleared hence many squirrels and Jungle
Babblers are found.
