EMS Database Integration Project
Developed a pilot project to test the feasibility of integrating the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) data of stroke patients from heterogeneous data sources in Chicago into a single unified database.
Presented a poster titled “Pre-Hospital and Hospital Data Linkage in an Organized Stroke System of Care: A Pilot Study” at the International Stroke Conference 2014.
Database Management
Designed and created a University Database using MySQL to accommodate the student data on enrollment, fees, accommodation, details, area of study and the corresponding faculty. Studied Database management concepts related to schema design, development, establishing referential integrity and data retrieval using queries.
