2. WHAT IS A 30 DAY CHALLENGE?
A 30 day challenge is a challenge for
you and for me to make some
significant changes in our lives over the
space of 30 days.
I decided to create a 30 day challenge
as at the time of writing the summer
has just ended and what can happen is
that during the summer we forget about
eating well, exercising and looking after
our physical and mental health.
September is also the month that
people want to make changes, perhaps
it is learning something new, changing
jobs or joining a gym.
This is where my challenge comes in! I
want to challenge you to make changes
in your life over the next 30 days.
I am not telling you what you need to
change, just want you to decide on one
or two areas of your life that need some
change and then follow my guidance to
make that change.
In this first document we are going to
look at some success tips that are going
to help you

3. 1 FIND YOUR PASSION
This is probably one of the hardest
elements of finding success in your life.
You need to find something that you're
passionate about and that you will give
100% to when you go to work.
In fact many people say that work
should be something that you love,
once you love what you do it will no
longer be work
2 BE OBSESSED
Once you discover your passion (which
you will during the challenge) you need
to become obsessed with making it
happen.
You probably already have an idea of
what your passion is, now you need to
explore it fully and become as obsessed
with it as you can.
3 NEVER LOOK BACK
This is a tough one for many of us.
We look back at our past and think why
things went wrong what we could've
done what we should've done etc. We
don't think about the present moment.
It's like with the great Tony Robbins
sad. You don't drive a car looking in the
rearview mirror because if you do you're
going to crash.
I want you to start living and enjoying
the present moment.

“Anything is possible if
you put your mind to it”
4. 4 BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU WANT
You need to be able to speak up and
say I want to be a writer. I want to travel
the world. I want to achieve X or Y.
Believe in yourself, believe that you can
achieve this, tell the world and the
universe will help you.
Very often people are afraid of speaking
up and saying what they want to
achieve because they're afraid of what
others may actually say about that.
However I want you to say “this is what
I want to achieve and I want you to try
and achieve it I'll get as close to it as I
can within the next 30 days.”
5 INSPIRE OTHERS
Your aim should be to be able to inspire
others to show them that you have done
what many thought was impossible.
Now be prepared, you will have your
haters, you have people who will say
“Why is Richard enjoying life so much?
What gives him the right to X?”
This is normal. There are two types of
people in this world those who will be
inspired by you and those that are
haters.
The haters feel intimidated by your
success because they know that they
don't have the balls to do what you did.
Let the haters hate and use their
negativity to push you even further.

5. 6 PROVE THEM WRONG
Following on from my success tip above
you need to prove the naysayers wrong.
You see the guy in the pub who says
Richard is a dreamer, the friend who
laughs at your ideas?
Use their negativity to push yourself
forward and never give up. If you look at
many famous people they came from
nothing. And they achieved everything.
Why? Because they believed in
themselves. They didn't listen to the
haters and the naysayers.
They knew that they had a message
that they wanted the world to hear it.
They knew that what they want to
achieve was worthwhile. They gave
100%. They proved them wrong.
7 THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
We are conditioned to study hard at
school, go to university, graduate, get a
job, find a partner, get married, get a
house, have a family, retire, die.
We need to fit into this box. However,
sometimes life doesn't work like that.
This can make us believe that we are
failures in life because we haven't fitted
into the box like everybody else.
What can you do? Break that box into
pieces!
Think about your knowledge, your skills
and think how you can make money
and help others.

6. 8 EXPRESS GRATITUDE
This is probably one of the most
important tips for success.
Many people complain about the
weather, their work, the transport
system and more. They live a life of
moaning and negativity without even
realising. You have so much to be
grateful for. Sometimes you just have to
look around and find what that is.
It could be a simple as a small corner of
your city that is an oasis that allows you
to sit and reflect on the world.
Maybe it's that email that you received
when somebody said thank you for your
support.
We've been conditioned not to give
gratitude every day.
The more gratitude you give the more
good things will come into your life so
begin to use a gratitude journal in order
to be more grateful and receive better
things.
9 BE INSPIRED BY OTHERS
You need to have somebody that you
look up to. Somebody that inspires you.
It is important that you can model your
behaviour, and model the success of
others.
Therefore find somebody you want to
be like. And study them and think like
them and ask yourself “How would X
handle this situation?”

“Find one thing everyday
that you are grateful for”
7. 10 LIVE IN THE MOMENT
This success tip can seem contradictory
in some senses.
Why? Because when we talk about
goals we talk about long-term goals but
for some people this does not work and
that's fine to be honest.
I do believe we need to have long-term
goals but I also believe we need to
understand and realise what is
happening right now and how that is
going to help you achieve your plans.
If we plan too much we may forget to
look at what is happening now in our
life. We may be planning for the future
that may never happen.
So right now live in this moment and
use this moment to help you get closer
to your goals.
11 BE ENGAGED
Make sure you engage with those
around you. Praise those that look up
to you. Give back to those who have
helped you.
The more you give the more, the more
people will be inspired and want to help
you.
Always remember those who are your
cheerleaders.
