2. WELCOME TO YOUR LIFE
THERE'S A NEED FOR GOOD NEWS!
I've felt for a while now, the
need to create a postive
magazine that will help people
get more from life.
Each and every month, I will
bring you news, views and
thoughts to make your life
better!
This month we focus on success
3. CAN YOU BE SUCCESSFUL?
The short answer is yes, but it does take
just a little bit of work.
Depending on where you are right now
this might be a just a little bit more than
what you are doing right now, or
perhaps quite a bit to start off on the
right foot.
Here's what you need to know:
A thin, attractive, healthy body is the
result of an effective set of habits.
Effective habits will also provide you
with a healthy bank account. Your ability
to reach your goals is largely dependent
on your ability to create and implement
habits.
Successful people
leave clues. If you
want to be more
successful, read about
successful people.
However, it all starts
with goals!

HAVE A VISION & GOALS
t's important to know what you want.
How will you get what you want if you
don't know what you want?
A vision for the future is the same as
making decisions about what you want
and don't want.
* That vision also provides the
motivation to continue when things
become challenging, and they will.
Once you have a vision, you're in the
position to create goals to make that
vision a reality. Failing to have goals is
deciding to keep your life the same.
CREATE HABITS
4. There aren't too many things you can do
completely on your own.
Others will be involved along the way.
They might be customers, clients,
suppliers, partners, or the public at large.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED?
CONNECTION
Success involves change.
Change is uncomfortable. How do you
handle discomfort?
Do you become overwhelmed, grab the
remote, and head for the couch with a
plate full of cookies?
Or do you take a deep breath, step up,
and take care of business?
DISCOMFORT
Successful people look ahead and make
appropriate plans.
They see their future opportunities and
challenges and modify their plans and
behaviors accordingly.
Life also goes more smoothly if you're
proactive.
PROACTIVITY
Much of the journey to reach your goals
isn't fun or exciting. It's a grind.
The ability to persevere when there's
nothing exciting going on is a good way
to gauge how successful you can
become.
The easier it is for you to give up, the less
likely you are to be successful.

PATIENCE.
Patience and grit are related. Creating success
requires time and patience. Patience is necessary
to see concrete results. Without patience,
frustration eventually wins.
REVIEW.
Having a vision and goals isn't enough. It's
important to review the results you're getting. Is
your plan working? Could you make some
changesthatwouldbringbetterresults?Measure
and review your results regularly.
HUMOR.
Life is funny. Things will go wrong no matter how
well you prepare. Unique opportunities pop up
along the way. If you can laugh at life and its
follies, you'll have a better chance of experiencing
and enjoying success.
TO ANSWER THE QUESTION.
Success doesn't require anything outside of your
control. You need a vision, a plan to get there, and
the ability to follow through.
You can be as successful as anyone you've ever
known. Take control and create a life that pleases
you.
Begin today by creating a vision of the future that
compels you to make goals and take action.

BUT WHAT IS SUCCES?
This is a great question, as really success is
different for each and every person.
My idea of success might not be yours, so
consider these points from my own
experience:
1. Success is being.
What I mean by this is "being" able to do
things. Knowing that I can be a human
being, not a human doing.
For me I want to be able to take a week
or two weeks holiday and not have to
feel pressured to check my phone (sure I
check it but only because I want to).
2. Success is freedom.
Freedom to do what I want when I want,
I am not quite there yet, but I have
made huge strides to get closer to it.
I want to be able to work from home,
wherever home is at the particular time.
3. Success is not worrying.
Not having to worry about if I will make
it till the end of the month. Not worrying
what happens if we go for lunch today,
or thinking I have to worry about whatI
put in my shopping basket.
Knowing that I buy things when I have
the money and not worrying about debt
4. Success is having.
Having time to do things (although my
wife says I am always hustling), but I
mean I have the choice to have time, to
do things.
Again I not 100% there on this one but
nearly there.
But having also means having the
things that I like - I am not talking about
fancy cars etc, but the "small" things like
a nice phone and gadgets - gotta have
gadgets!
IS WHAT YOU BELIEVE
ABOUT SUCCESS TRUE?
★I don't have a success personality
★ Money changes a person
★ I am not smart enough to be successful
★ I don't have an original idea
★ It takes a long time to be succesful
★ Being successful means I will be lonely
★ Only lucky people are successful
★ Successful people had an easy time getting there
★ You have to have will power

REMEMBER THAT
1. Clearly answer the W5H
questions. Your website needs to
answers the common questions your
potential customers may have. This
informationmustbeeasilyaccessible,
clear, and concise. After all, this is
what makes your business unique!
2. Remember that content is king.
Provide content tailored to your
customer’s interests and explain how
your products and services will
benefit them. Share real-life stories
from satisfied customers. And ensure
your site is updated regularly with the
latest information.
3. Seek out “back links.” A back link
is when a website links to you. One
way to do this is to leave comments
on relevant blogs. Another strategy is
to simply ask for a link! For example, if
you have a vegetarian restaurant,
reach out to farmers markets and
vegetarian societies and ask for a link
on their website.
CONTENT IS KING!
4. Do a competitive analysis. What
are your competitors doing? Note
what you like and dislike about
other sites and brainstorm how you
can make your own site better.
5. Get social. Get your site in front
of more eyes by getting active on
Facebook and Twitter. If others like
it, they may send it to their friends.
