Pronunciation is one of 
students’ difficulties because 
there are some differences 
between Indonesian and 
English sounds. 
Listening to English

REASON FOR CHOOSING THE 
TOPIC 
 Listening to English song is important because 
it can be accessed and followed easily. 
 English song can make students familiar with 
English sounds. 
 The writer wants to find out whether there is 
an effect of listening to English song on 
students’ ability to pronounce numbers in 
English.
