3. Primary Objective: to
keep state
representatives up to
speed on the
renewable energy
landscape in Missouri
Temporarily
Postponed
Still an important
project for RenewMO,
but we have a lot of
other things going on.
4. Primary objective: to educate the public and
garner interest
◦ in what we are up to at RenewMO
◦ in sustainability, renewables, and environmental
policy/issues in general
We hope that by blogging often and with
purpose we can develop a greater web
presence for our organization
◦ Engage the Missouri public
◦ Incite interest in supporting and volunteering
◦ Recruiting more help for our cause is important!
Change will be harder to enact if the MO public is
complacent in their stance
5. Process
◦ Finding topics of interest
Drawing from Fall 2013 would-be RRs
Drawing from RenewMO current happenings
Google Alerts
Focused web surfing
◦ Drafting posts
Sending to Sarah for editing, suggestions
◦ Selecting appropriate and engaging media
Youtube, photo archives, or creating my own graphics
◦ Posting to our Wordpress
I’ve made a goal to have our first Fall 2013 post up
by this Friday, 11/8
6. Primary Objective: Coordinating volunteers to
meet with state representatives
◦ to express their interest and felt urgency regarding
Missouri’s renewables policies
My role:
◦ Data sorting for Jake’s Use
◦ E.g. streamlining contact list into more manageable,
standardized chunks for easier contact
Also to prevent contacting multiple times
7. Primary Objective: to have a standardized
process for ordering more office materials
Two week startup process:
◦ Major clean sweep of office
◦ Sorting items by type
◦ Taking inventory
◦ Reorganizing
◦ Making an excel intake form and recording data
Inventory folder and form in Dropbox
◦ Reference Office Inventory
◦ Hard Copy available as well
8.
9. Primary Objective: To improve the contact
quality of our supporters
We’ve made it through phase I and II now
◦ Phase I – all #2s [Phone Number Only]
◦ Phase II – all #3s [Email Only]
Phase III will be to mail all #1s [Address Only]
◦ After that, this project will mostly entail updating
the information we do receive on Salesforce
10. The neat system we have, as previously discussed in
my first presentation:
1 = Address only
2 = Phone only
3 = Email only
4 = Address & (your choice of phone or email)
5 = Phone & Email
6 = Address & Phone & Email
11. For every donation we receive, we send out a
thank you to our supporter
If the donation is over USD $100.00, an
additional, personal thank you is issued by PJ
Standard thank-you includes
◦ A small foldover card with a message from the
RenewMO team
◦ A small form indicating that their donation should
be tax deductible
I tailor them to the individual donor, address
them, and send them out
