To get reimbursed, students must present:<br />A receipt for the purchase of the item.<br />The name and date of the venture for which it was used.<br />The name, email address, phone number and physical address of the person seeking reimbursement.<br />Their preferred method of reimbursement (check, electronic transfer).<br />Requests may be presented:<br />Via email to email@example.com<br />Via snail mail to 109 N. Larger expenses can be covered by:<br />An Advancement — a check sent directly to the vendor.<br />Invoices — having the bill sent directly to us.<br />Petty cash is provided for walk up buyers.<br />$100 cash taken out at beginning of year to keep in lockbox for change.<br />Anything above $100 needs to be deposited into an account immediately.<br />Chapters using on-campus accounts must transfer funds and report transactions monthly.<br />Resources and timelines<br />The Finance system is flexible for the needs of your Chapter.<br />
Resources and timelines<br />Having proper finances is essential to our success.<br />Nourish is a 501 c 3 non-profit.<br />This means that the IRS gives us our right to exist and can audit us.<br />If all money raised in Nourish’s name does not make it to our bank account, if improper reimbursements are made and if complete information is not transferred, we risk our right to exist.<br />Because of this, we will not tolerate mistakes here.<br />
It is expected that the majority of the money you raise will come from Ventures.<br />If you have any relationships with Foundations or corporate donors that could be National, let us know. <br />Letter writing campaigns should not be the focus of Chapter activities.<br />Resources and timelines<br />Nourish Chapters raise money through on-campus ventures.<br />
