In this presentation we will explain how National
Income could affect PT Antam. At first we
researched about how National Income first
founded, PT Antam’s history, and many more.
We researched all of the factors that affects PT
Antam, inside factors and outside factors of
this company, and some analysis about the
company.

National Income is The total net value of all goods
and services produced within a nation over a
specified period of time, representing the sum of
wages, profits, rents, interest, and pension
payments to residents of the nation.
The second definition that is from Indonesia is The
amount of income received by the entire family
household in a country from the delivery of
production factors in one period, usually for one
year.

The concept of national income was first triggered by Sir
William Petty of England who sought to assess his
country's national income (UK) in 1665. In his
calculations, he used the assumption that the national
income was a summation of the cost of living
(consumption) for a year. However, the opinion is not
agreed upon by modern economic experts, because
according to the view of modern economics,
consumption is not the only element in the calculation
of national income. According to them, the main tool
as a measure of economic activity is gross National
product (GNP), the total number of goods and
services produced annually by the relevant country is
measured according to the market price at a Country.

It is related to AS dollars kurs with rupiah. If the price of Rupiah
sterengthened againts dollars than the price of gold would be increased, As

When the price of gold rises when dollar exchange rate over the
rupiah, than the price of gold would be dropped. It’s because when the
interest rate rises, many people would choose to invest their money in the
form of high interest deposits rather than saving golds.
3. The total of supply and demand of gold
The facor of supply & demand of gold could affected to the price of gold as
well. The point is when the demand’s of golds rises, the price of gold would
be increase too, so when the demand of golds dropped, then the price would
be decreased too.

solid development projects to improve the quality and
value of the company’s mineral reserve and resource to
support the development of downstream businneses to

while profitability expanding operations in a sustainable

such as nickel, bauksite, and coal which their core

Eventhough Antam’s has competitors they have a several advantage from
Antam’s such as Antam’s has international sertificated while UBS has national
certificated only and of course Antham’s is stated own enterprises while UBS
is a private company and that makes Antham’s will get more trust from people.
Antham’s has no supplier because Antham’s itself is a supplier.
Buyer power
Antam’s also have a lot of business partner such as:
-Mitsubhisi Corporation, Sumitomo Metals Mining Co.Ltd, Krakatau Steel that
defines the buyer power itself.

The threats of entry for the gold mining industrys is low due to high entry
barriers ,it need large expenditure to set up mining company is very high,
and the resource are limited and unrenewable. There are still many
competitors in the industry. However since the exit barriers are high the
competition is limited within the existing companies. Companies in the
industry might battle for larger market share but facing little threat of new
entries. Moreover, mining companies has a high exit cost and that becaused
the uss of specialized asset.
