SUN Solaris Administration:
 Installation of Operating Systems, configurations, applications and utilities in production environment.
 Creating and maintaining user accounts from the Command Line.
 Identifying the issues and finding root cause. Maintaining the servers with latest updates and patches while
monitoring performance for all systems and components.
 Installation of Storage Foundation and Net Backup.
 Escalation of hardware level issues with vendors.
 Managing backups through VERITAS Netback up and tape libraries.
 Performance monitoring and system administration of Unix/Linux servers on cross platform hardware of Sun
Sparc and x86 machines based on CLI tools, Syslog, Solarwinds NMS.
 Meticulously creating Problem tickets on repeated incidents. Also creating Change task for any upgrade or
change if the setup requires. Handle software Install and patches while skillfully configuring kernel parameters.
 Shell Scripts to automate the processes (CDR archival, BCV, health/load monitoring of servers).
