2. What is Empowerment Technology?
 Empowerment Technology is a professional web and software
development company and providing technical training on various
technologies.
 Often deals with the use of different technologies such as mobile phones,
telephone, computer and other devices to locate, save, communicate and to
inform.
 There are three importance of Empowerment Technology and these are for
communication, to make our lives easier and to help our country for its
modernization plans.

3. Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT)
 ICT refers to technologies that provide access to information through
telecommunications.
 It focuses primarily on communication technologies. This includes
the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication
mediums.

4. Web 1.0
 It is a term coined to differentiate the first stage of the World Wide Web (WWW) in
comparison with the present stage of the internet technology.
 Webpages were static and were called read only web.
 The only available feedback mechanism was through private emails.
 The user is limited to viewing the website.

5. Web 2.0
 The term Web 2.0 was first used around 2004.
 Internet became more and more interactive.
 The internet became more available for everyone.
 The users can now interact, contribute and create their own internet space and
content (Explosion of Information and Social Media).
 An internet technology and application that allow involvement in the virtual
community.

6. Web 3.0
 It is described by Tim Berners Lee as the read-write-execute web.
 It is referred to as the semantic web or data driven web content and response.
 The context of the search of the user is processed by a programming language to
help the user by presenting options of what the person is interested in.
 Referred to as data driven or semantic web that are used by web services to meet
the needs of the end user.
