2. ALASKA
Each day is scheduled and
filled with as much or as
little as you like. Moments
of self-discovery are found
exploring a beautiful creek,
or quietly paddling a kayak.
Every night we stop in a new
and secluded anchorage.
Morning – Early birds join
the naturalist in kayaking or
skiffing to shore to watch and
listen for birds. After break-
fast we gather on deck watch-
ing for flocks of birds and
marine mammals as we cruise
surrounded by the magnifi-
cent scenery of Alaska.
Afternoon – After lunch
we explore the forest or beach
trails of the Tongass National
forest learning about intertid-
al life, native plants or local
wildlife before motoring to
our evening anchorage in
some remote cove.
Evening – At anchor there is
time before dinner for kay-
aking, exploring on shore,
reading or relaxing in your
favorite deck chair. After a
sumptuous meal, the natural-
ist and skipper review the day
and we may watch an Alaskan
slide show, kayak or photo-
graph a sunset before turning
in for the night.
A Day on the Snow Goose
3. THE SNOW
GOOSE
DIFFERENCE
The Snow Goose is
obviously different from the enormous Cruise
Ships that ply these waters every summer, but
we’re different from the smaller ships as well.
For us, it’s not only about simply seeing the
landscape; it’s about exploring the details hid-
den within and finding the unexpected. Not
only do you see the beautiful landscape, but
you feel the rocks beneath your feet.
It’s about gaining a deeper understanding for
the magnificent world we live in – flipping over
stones and finding starfish, snails, crabs, anem-
ones, and most importantly – the unexpected.
It’s about getting back to the basics, and find-
ing your bearings again – a reset button for the
soul.
We keep it simple. Through in-depth explora-
tion of our magnificent coasts with 11 other
like-minded travelers, the Snow Goose offers
a unique and personal experience unlike any
other. The Snow Goose is different – come see
why.
