2. Our aim aboard the
Snow Goose is to deliver a unique and per-
sonal experience for passengers while ex-
ploring the shorelines of majestic Southeast
Alaska. With our knowledgeable crew as
guides, guests will cruise the remote waters,
hike secluded islands, and discover whales,
bears, and a host of plants and animals that
bring the diverse ecosystem of Southeast
Alaska to life.
The Snow Goose is different from the enor-
mous Cruise Ships that ply these waters
every summer, but we’re different from the
smaller ships as well. For us it’s not simply
about watching a whale breath at the sur-
face as we pass by, it’s about taking the
time – stopping – waiting, watching, listening
to the sound of the whale exhale at the sur-
face before diving to feed, even feeling the
mist from it’s blow kiss your face.
Each day is scheduled and filled with as
much or as little as you like. There is plenty
to do so if you are inclined you can leave
the boat and go ashore several times a day
to walk the beach and trails in the Tongass
National Forest. Moments of self-discovery
are found exploring a beautiful creek, or qui-
etly paddling a kayak. Every night we stop
in a new and secluded anchorage.
“For us, it’s not only about
simply seeing the landscape;
it’s about exploring the details
hidden within and finding the
unexpected.”

3. Walk beaches among ancient Petra glyphs,
kayak glassy waters amidst icebergs, see
brown bears forage on shore, and watch
humpback whales feed on herring. Here on
the Snow Goose, we have been slowing
the pace and taking time to truly appreciate
our surroundings for 30 years.
We feel that the trip is about gaining a
deeper understanding for the magnificent
world we live in – walking on the shore at
low tide with muddy fingers, flipping over
stones and finding starfish, snails, crabs,
anemones, and most importantly – the unex-
pected. It’s about getting back to the basics,
and finding your bearings again – a reset
button for the soul. We take pride in real-
izing the entirety of our surroundings and
embracing it with open arms.
