• It was founded by Jamshetji N. Tata
onDecember16, 1903
• Currently the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces
comprises 100 hotels at 62 locations across India
and employ over 13000 people
• The group has extended its international
presence with 15 hotels in the Maldives,
Malaysia, the UK, USA, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Africa
and the Middle East.
