Meaning of INTERNET
The word internet is derived from two
different words intercommunication and
network. Internet is a network of networks.
ಅಂತರ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮತ್ತ
ು ನೆಟ್ವರ್ಕಕ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡು
ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಪದಗಳಂದ ಇಂಟನೆಕಟ್ ಎಂಬ ಪದವನ್ನನ
ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂಟನೆಕಟ್ ಜಾಲಗಳ ಜಾಲವಾಗಿದೆ.

Network is a communication established
between two or more computers/Devices. Many such
networked computers across world or joined together
is called internet.
ನೆಟ್ವರ್ಕಕ ಎನ್ನನ ವುದು ಎರಡು ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ನ್
ಕಂಪ್ಯೂ ಟರ್ಗಳ ನ್ಡುವೆ ಸ್ಥಾ ಪಿಸಲಾದ ಸಂವಹನ್ವಾಗಿದೆ.

There are mainly 3 Types in Internet Connections :

hours facility.

Dedicated Internet Connection

•Dedicated Internet Connection is little bit
costly because it needs a unique Hard Ware.
•ಮೋಸಲಾದ ಇಂಟನೆಕಟ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವು ಸವ ಲಪ
ದುಬಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಏಕಂದರೆ ಇದಕೆ ಪ್ಯರರ್ವಾದ

This Internet facility can be used by Internet service
Provider. After this process only the user is able to
access to Internet. User will be given ‘a user name’ as
well as ‘Pass word ’

Dial-Up Internet Connection

There are mainly two types in Dial-Up Internet Connection
ಡಯಲ್-ಅಪ್ ಇಂಟನೆಕಟ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕದಲಿ
ಿ ಮುಖ್ೂ ವಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಧಗಳವೆ
1) AP account ಎಪಿ ಅಕಂಟ್
2) Shell account. ಶೆಲ್ ಅಕಂಟ್
By using AP account user can use E mail, Apps, News group,
Downloading pictures etc.
ಎಪಿ ಖಾತೆಯನ್ನನ ಬಳಸುವ ಮೂಲರ್ ಬಳಕದಾರರು ಇಮೇಲ್,
ಅಪಿಿ ಕೇಶನ್ಗಳು, ಸುದಿ ುತಂಪು, ಚ್ಚತ
ರ ಗಳನ್ನನ ಡೌನ್ಲೋರ್ಡ ಮಾಡಲು
ಬಳಸಬಹುದು.
In Shell account the user can Download PDF Files.
ಶೆಲ್ ಖಾತೆಯಲಿ
ಿ ಬಳಕದಾರರು PDF ಫೈಲ್ಗಳನ್ನನ ಡೌನ್ಲೋರ್ಡ
ಮಾಡಬಹುದು.

Broad band Internet Connection passes the information in Hi
speed, by using a strong Cables. It is very faster than Dial-Up
Internet Connection . Now a days this Broad Bond connection
is very Popular.
