Randa Elanwar works as a researcher at the Electronics Research Institute. She has received her B.Sc. in Electronics & Communications Eng. with honors from Cairo University in 2003, M.Sc. in Communications (Cairo University 2007), Ph.D. in Communications (Cairo University 2012). Her research field specialization is handwritten document analysis and recognition field in which she has 9 (national and international) publications. Her research interests are in Document Image Analysis, Handwriting analysis and recognition and Information retrieval.
