Engaged in research on Arsenic toxicity in the food chain in the Arsenic affected
fluvial Plains of Bihar. Under this, obtained intensive field work experience in Arsenic
affected district along fluvial plains of Bihar and also foothills of Himalayas along Indo-
Nepal boarder in Bihar, and gained expertise in water, plant and soil sample analysis
for arsenic contamination. Also engaged in awareness program among the affected
local community regarding hazardous effects of arsenic in drinking water, irrigation
water & Food chain. Worked on 12 varieties of rice cultivars and two varieties of
Tomato to detect the Arsenic resistance capacity in lab condition.
