We continue joining trails marked with vocational training. In this opportunity, it is the turn of two institutions
located in Uganda and Malaga, which joined INEW last month.
One of them is IPF (Iniciativas de Proyectos de Formación –Training Projects Initiatives), a Spanish
institution with 10 years of experience in offering training and consultancy services to individuals and
companies as well, both at the national and international
levels. Within its working agenda, it focuses on the
following areas: international funded projects, Spanish for
foreigners, organization of visits and stays of professionals
and/or experts, projects for external institutions and event
organization, among others.
The other organization, located in Africa, which has already
signed its cooperation undertaking with INEW is the
Kyambogo University, whose vision is to be an institution of academic and professional excellence. Its
mission is to promote knowledge and the development of skills in science, technology, education and
in other fields such as quality, equality, progress and social transformation.
FIRST CUISINE EXCHANGE BETWEEN MEXICO AND ARGENTINA
As a result of the agreement between Vocational Training Center No. 28 (CFP) located in the City
of Buenos Aires and the National College of Technical Professional Training (CONALEP) located in
Mexico, INEW member institutions carried out the First Cuisine Exchange between these two
cultures in Argentina.
From Octobre 5 to 9, instructors from the course of
study of Food and Beverages from the Oaxaca division
traveled to Buenos Aires to be welcomed by the
SUTERH-dependent training center.
During the first days, Elizabeth Morán and Eric León
learned about the Argentine cuisine history. Then, it
was the turn of students. They discovered the secrets
of the Mexican cuisine and under the supervision of
professionals; they prepared several dishes, which are
typical of the states of Yucatan, Oaxaca and Chiapas,
among others.
On Friday the meeting’s participants had the possibility
of showing their dishes in a large exhibition that
joined in one single place the most popular cuisine of
both nationalities.
Later, the closing ceremony took place with the attendance of CONALEP’s instructors, CFP No. 28
educational community and the INEW authorities that encouraged the meeting, Víctor Santa
María (president) and Gustavo Álvarez (executive director).
Members of the Mexican embassy
in Argentina, Alejandro Álvarez
Fernández, Chancellor’s Office head,
and Daniel Romero Mejía, counselor
of the institution had also the chance
to congratulate the master chefs and
honor them for their work.
