riding into the yard

POV shot: policeman puts down his
bike and turns a corner
Around 5 seconds

POV shot: policeman advances on
the ‘guard’ character up ahead, gun
in hand pointed towards him
Around 8 seconds while he
advances on the guard

POV shot: policeman goes right up
to the ‘guard’ and catches his
attention
Around 3 or 4 seconds with
suspense building music
Shot 5
POV shot
Fighting scene starts – music
intensifies and the ‘guard’ turns
around and faces up to the
policeman. Policeman kicks the gun
out of the guard’s hand
Around 7 second shot

POV shot
Policeman grabs guard by the collar, lifts him up and throws him at the
wall. Dramatic music becomes more intense to build with the action of the
fighting scene. Camera pans round as the policeman pulls the guard
forward and throws him toward the wall

Music goes from being intense and
fast paced to slow before becoming
silent

Music creeps back in again, slow to

POV shot: policeman shoots
another ‘guard’ from a distance,
guard drops to the floor.
SFX: gunshot sound

POV shot: policeman swings around
again to see drug dealer with
‘drugee’ in large closed area, and
approaches slowly
Dramatic, suspenseful music, SFX:
footsteps on gravel

POV shot: policeman quickly
advances on drug dealer to try and
stop the ‘drug dealing’.
Drug dealer fights back, more fast
paced intense music

POV shot- fight scene
Drug dealers goes to hit policeman
with knife, but policeman grabs
knife and begins to run after drug
dealer

POV shot – drug dealer runs away
and policeman gives chase with the
knife

POV: policeman pushes the ‘drug dealer’ into tyres, and pulls out knife to
stab him with
Music intensifies, before becoming quieter and less fast as the drug dealer
dies

audience that this has in fact been a video game and not reality
Camera then pans out to show this video game on a TV, with ‘game over’
sound effect and music to highlight the fact that it’s a game

Music peters out to silence, he

hints to real life

looking worried, as he is unsure if
it’s his fault or not

Cut back to shot of TV. Newsreader
finishes report, giving more hints to
the video game being real life.

detail, titles roll across the bottom
