“Your personal brand already
exists, it’s what people say
about you when you’re not in
the room” – @Debra11
When planning your marketing, incorporate the words people use to describe
you. This allows your marketing to be an authentic reflection of your true self.

“60% of Pinterest users are women,
50% are parents. A pin has a shelf life of
6 months and users spend more time
on Pinterest than any other social site.”
- @bexmountain
Use Pinterest to create communal boards with your clients. This allows you to
invite your clients to specific boards you’ve created and let’s them add content to
the board. This can be specific details they’re looking for in a home or inspiration
for a renovation they’re doing. This keeps you connected, even after a
transaction and goes that extra step of engaging the client during the process.

“We’re all weird. We all have different
interests. Use those interest to combine your
career with what you love. Find out what’s
important to your specific niche when it
comes to the real estate process”
@kirbychan
What do you love? It could be extreme sports, kids, dogs, classic cars or genre of
music. Use the things you love and the people that love them too to target your
marketing. If your niche market is pet owners, targeting your videos and flyers to where
the best dog parks or groomers are, is a great idea. Find people in your niche market
using twitter and brand yourself is the expert for that target. This will really allow you to
mix your passion with work.

online. Stop posting just your new listings and open houses. Check your inbox
for questions you often receive and use your social platforms to answer them.
