In the 1800s, a certain British cocktail was quite in demand but it lacked one key
ingredient: X. Rich folks in India used Himalayan X, but Indian weather made it diļ¬cult
for the ingredient to be available throughout the country. In Calcutta, a variety of X
called "Hoogly" was available - made from shallow pits from water in the Hoogly river.
It wasn't till 1833, that India received its ļ¬rst import of X from USA. While, the industry of
importing X, took this long to establish itself in India, it was already dead in 4 years.
Described as "crystal blocks of Yankee coldness".

With the Fuji river in Shizouka Prefecture, East and West Japan are uniquely
divided due to a certain diļ¬erence in their Electricity transmission. Japan
is probably the only country with this unusual problem whose cause dates
back to Meiji era. In the 1890s, the Tokyo Electric Light Company purchased
generators from Germany and the Osaka Electric Light Company from the
United States.By the time the problem was noticed, the infrastructure was
already created, and it would have taken a huge amount of money and time
to unify it. There have been many attempts to unify the two ends but even
after more than 100 years, electricity in the eastern and western Japan
remains separated and cannot be shared- even in cases of extreme
emergencies.

1. Setting up the connection: The connection setup is the same as the car charger. The
inverter shouldnāt be connected to the power supply before you set up all the connections.
Connect the negative port of the battery to the black wire of the output port of the inverter.
The positive wire has to go to the red port of the outputās positive port.
2. Supplying power: Home inverters use the direct power from the power outlets of your
house. Check the connections again before you turn the power supply on. If the connections
are alright, plug the inverter into the power outlet. Connecting the wires in the wrong manner
may make the battery explode.
3. Finishing up: Home inverters have a high-power supply. It might take as low as 1.5 hours
for an inverter to charge the battery completely. Some might take up to 3 hours.
