Eleven babies have been born in X, and remarkably, none of them died as
infants, rendering X's infant mortality rate a perfect 0%. What's even more
astonishing is that these births weren't mere unplanned. During the early
20th century, neighboring countries like Argentina and Chile developed an
obsession over X and wished to claim it as their own. In 1977, a pregnant
Argentinian woman was transported from Argentina to X, where she
eventually gave birth to the very first child born within X's borders making
him X's first citizen. Argentina harbored hopes that this child's birthplace in
X would solidify their claim as rightful owners. Although Chile initially
agreed to this proposition for a year, they subsequently dispatched a
Chilean couple to X, who not only birthed a child but even conceived one
there, making their own stake in X's future. Identify X.

death in 1716, after which it ceased to interest Y too. The modern

Teiyu Goto, the mastermind behind this choice, explains:
“Other game companies at the time assigned alphabet letters or colors
to the buttons. We wanted something simple to remember, which is
why we went with icons or symbols, and I came up with the A-B-C-D
combination immediately afterward. I gave each symbol a meaning and
a color. The A refers to viewpoint; I had it represent one’s head or
direction and made it green. B refers to a piece of paper; I had it
represent menus or documents and made it pink. The C and D represent
‘yes’ or ‘no’ decision-making and I made them red and blue respectively.
People thought those colors were mixed up, and I had to reinforce to
management that that’s what I wanted.”
