produce such gases. The people of both of the countries can be taught about the importance of trees in their junior level education or the awareness

Climate change is an issue that affects all, and yet some do not even accept that it exists. Climate change is causing glaciers to melt, sea levels to
rise, more droughts and heat waves to occur, and even more intense tropical storms. These are just a few examples of the effects of climate change,
but there are even more devastating effects such as polar bears having to search for new food sources, on land, because of the sea ice they rely on for

I cannot recommend nuclear power as an alternative energy resource because many people have experienced accidents and atomic bombs. However,

Global warming is the observed increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and oceans. Higher temperatures threaten dangerous
consequences: drought, disease, floods, and lost ecosystems. From sweltering heat to rising seas, global warming's effects have already begun. Many
people still believe that since the earth is so big, human beings cannot possibly have any major impact on the way the planet operates. The truth is we
have grown so numerous and our technologies have become so powerful that we are now capable of having a significant influence on many parts of

Another solution, and possibly the first step for the world to work together to reduce global warming, is to put energy efficient, renewable energy, and
vehicle technology solutions in place at a federal level. California has been the only state to step up to the plate. In August 2006, the California state
legislature passed the landmark Global Warming Solutions Act which mandates that the state'sgreenhouse gas emissions be rolled back to 1990 levels
by 2020 (The Vote Heard around the World 1). This first
–in–the–nation law puts a cap on gas emissions from power plants, refineries, and

Nuclear power is a good short term solution to buy humans time to find a way to make energy without hurting our environment as much as fossil
fuels. Humans could also increase the price of electricity or put a limit on how much you can use as this would make humans use electricity with
responsibility. If humans do not act on global warming, there may be no future for earth. Global warming would affect the world so much the climate
would be similar to Venus. On Venus there is so much greenhouse gas in the atmosphere that no heat escapes, but sunlight can still come through. This
is similar to what will happen to earth's climate if humans do not stop global warming. As the earth increases in temperature, the environment is
changed in many ways. Ocean water warms causing small organisms to die off very quickly if the climate changes fast enough. As more greenhouse

warming becomes more and more of an issue, the factors surrounding global warming need to be dealt with. The world is beginning to show that if
something is not done about global warming serious side effects can occur. At first impression someone might think that global warming does not effect
Many of the earth?s water supplies would be in danger because of "incursions of seawater," and the effects of incurring seawater could be fatal for

then the saltwater incursions would eliminate much of the fresh water in the world. Moisture fuels many of the worst storms in the world. If the ice
caps melt obviously much more water will be added to the atmosphere. Hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, typhoons, cyclones, and monsoons, are a few of
the most dangerous storms fueled by heat and water. Most people know the catastrophes that all of these storms have created throughout the years.
