ROLES and RESPONSIBLITIES
• Sole UAT coordinator for 500+ applications from offshore. All the technical and non technical queries
and troubleshooting are answered during the course of Eaton project.
• Validation of source and make sure the application behaviour is correct.
• Identify whether the application can be packaged using MSI technology or APP-V (Sequenced).
• If it need to be packaged as an MSI again I need to identify whether its legacy setup.exe or Vendor
MSI(Setup.exe having Hidden MS)
• If it’s Legacy Setup.exe it will be captured by using Wise Package Studio and also responsible for the
developing an MSI (Microsoft Standard Installer) as per standards which are specific to our customer.

5. • If it’s Setup.exe having hidden MSI – Responsible for creating a transform using Install tailor and
complete the package by applying standards in .MST
• In XP platform we generate VBscipts to deploy the package remotely on the customer machines. For
generating VBscipts we use internal customer tool called ‘dbMSIPEEK’
• In Win7 Platform we create a Manifest.xml where we will have install, uninstall and repair ordinals and
we use MC7 internal customer tool to deploy the Packages.
• Responsible for ensuring the package is working as per source and delivered within the Allocated SLA.
• Worked on complex packages like APOLOCS, BLOOMBERG, FILENET PANAGON IDM DESKTOP
and implemented many Custom actions which are required for the functionality of packages.
• In case if the application responsible to sequence it by using APP-V Virtualization sequencer 4.6SP1.
• Responsible for providing UAT support in case of any issues while UAT period.
