2. • This project will be to design a full game
through the use of concept art.
• The areas covered will include. Level
design, character design, scenery, props and
all other art areas.
3. Story
• The story begins with a young child artorias who lives in the
countryside with his father. This is the setup for the basic training in
how to play the game. This will include basic combat
exercises, aiming practice, item gathering and other techniques
included in the game. After helping his father with his jobs (basic
training) the day begins to end. This is where the turning point of
the story happens as they are awoken by a bandit raid. Artorias
watched as his father was killed in the raid and was forced to flee
his home. This is where the QuickTime events are introduced. As
Artorias has to run through many bandits to escape, you will have
to press certain buttons in time to dodge their attacks.
• At the end of the scene where Artorias escapes he encounters the
leader of the bandits who is riding a drake (a lesser sub-species of a
dragon). Artorias gets badly wounded and thrown into the river
nearby. This begins the next part of the story. Artorias’s almost
lifeless body washed up at a towns docks. This is where he is found
and healed by a magician. Then a time transition of 8 years as he
grows up in this town happens. This is where the player has full
control as the story develops and he progresses.

5. Inspiration
• My inspiration for my concept has come from many games
and films. Some game examples include; the Fable
series, Skyrim and Dark souls.
• For films; Ironclad, Robin hood, and other medieval films.

9. Art style
• My game will have a semi cartoony look to it. This will be
achieved with almost flat textures and slightly
disproportionate features. Fable is a good example of this.
Also the colours will not be gritty
and dark but have more bright
and vibrant colours.
10. Target audience
• My audience will be targeted at teenagers
ages -16 up.
• The theme of the game is a third-person
fantasy rpg.
