1. Material Cost: Costs of all materials consumed is taken
into consideration as Material Cost. Material Cost also
consists of Costs of the Bought-out Items which may not
be used in ProductionActivity
2. Production Cost:The expenses incurred in the
ProductionActivities are considered in Project Costing
as ‘Production Cost’.This may include the cost of
Consumables, Labor, Power etc. which are linked to the
Production Activities

3. Direct Cost:The Direct Expenses such asTransportation
Charges, Custom Duty, Freight Charges, Insurance,
Octroi etc. can be separately shown as ‘Direct Cost’ in
the Project Costing report.
4. Indirect Cost:The indirect Costs incurred for the project
also can be tracked.These can be such as Project
Allowances, Site Expenses, Consultancy Charges etc.
5. Service Cost: Some type of Service Costs can the part of
a Project.This can be Outsourcing Charges,
Subcontractor’s Service Bills etc.
