task, what do you feel that you have
learnt in the progression from it to
the full product?

2. Discuss the planning stage.
Since the preliminary task I have learnt how to
be more efficient with the camera and how I can
use it better to capture shots which we truly
need. Researching the genre helped a lot as we
gained a lot of knowledge from this which we
took on board when doing our own film
sequence.

3. Has your use of specific shot types
improved?
Our shots have improved as we have used
certain shots that are typical of a horror film.
The shots have also improved as they are much
more steadier and smoother as we now have a
much better knowledge of the shots.

4. Do you feel comfortable with the
equipment?
We feel more confident with the equipment
now that we have used them in a sequence. I
wasn’t confident with using a camera or a tripod
but now I feel much more confident when using
them.

5. How successful do you feel your end
product is at fulfilling the brief?
We think that our end product will fulfill the
brief well as it is what the brief asked for, an
opening sequence to a horror film.
