This presentation gives a brief review of 4g world. it contains all the facilties of 4g, advantages and disadvantages. it could be related easily with the current internet facility and calling mode we use. It is very cheap and efficient mode of network being used nowadays by everyone among us.
2. Introduction – 4G – What is it?
History of 4G Services
Limitations and Disadvantages
Conclusion
WHAT WILL WE BE SHOWING IN
THIS POWERPOINT PRESENTATION
3. 4G TECHNOLOGY – WHAT IS IT?
4G is the fourth generation of mobile
telecommunications technology, succeeding
3G.
A 4G system must provide capabilities
defined by ITU in IMT Advanced.
Potential and current applications include
amended mobile web access, IP telephony,
gaming services, high-definition mobile TV,
video conferencing, and 3D television.
4. The 4G system was originally
envisioned by the defense advanced
research projects agency (DARPA).
Since the 2.5G GPRS system,
cellular systems have provided dual
infrastructures.
In 4G systems, the circuit
switched infrastructure is abandoned
and only a packet-switched network
HISTORY OF 4G NETWORK
5. This means that in 4g, traditional voice calls
are replaced by IP telephony.
In 2002, the strategic vision for 4g –
which ITU designated AS IMT Advanced –
was laid out.
In April 2006, KT started the world`s first
commercial mobile WiMAX service in Seoul,
South Korea.
In mid 2006, sprint announced that it
would invest about US $5 billion in a WiMAX
technology buildout over the next few years
8. More versatile over wireless network system
Elevated voice excellence
Easily reach Internet, Instant Messaging, common
networks and video calling
It is advanced.
It continues connected to the Internet devoid of
any disturbance
More simpler approach to services & consumption
ADVANTAGES
9. New frequencies means new components in cell
towers
Higher data prices for consumers
Consumer is forced to buy a new device to support
the 4G
It is impossible to make your current equipment
compatible with the 4G network
Only accessibility in convinced cities
DISADVANTAGES
10.
11. In conclusion, 4G technology will allow for improved
applications such as telemedicine that may save lives.
It is a fully IP-based network and will improve data
transfer dramatically.
Signal disruptions will be minimal and downloads will
be done in a matter of seconds, faster than ever
before.
In the near future, a 5G cell phone will be created
along with a 5G network.
CONCLUSION
12. India being a vast country with people living in cities,
towns and villages.
It is a big problem for Indian Tele companies to
provide its services with consistency in every corner
of the country.
It’s general experience for Indians that a SIM card
giving good internet speed in one of the rooms in
the house may not even catch signals in other room.
