Agreement
● Right to carry passengers or cargo from a second country to a third country by stopping in one's own
country
The Committee notes the new development in this Agreement, which removes such restrictions to provide
fifth freedom services (By-lateral agreement between Australia and USA)
For example, under the new Agreement, Australian carriers can now operate services originating in the
United States through points in New Zealand and Australia and beyond points in South-East Asia without
restriction
