Job Responsibilities and Achievement
In order to manage all functions in the restaurant including, staff issue, customers' need and
requirement on timely manner including difficult situation, quality and standard control of food
and service, price and promotion by concerning to the market and purchasing power.
Chiang Mai market is known as one of the very complicated one so buyer behavior including
Purchasing Power and Marketing Analysis are reviewed to make the business run successfully.
The most important factor before set the price is to dealing with the suppliers directly to get the
best price and also maintain good quality of raw material. It is not first time that the restaurant
will get the best quality of each items. I need to find out in the limitation of time as there are a lot
of competitors as well. To control the stock and always keep it fresh is another role by focusing
on the expiry date and also monitor the amount of the customer daily.
According to the cost of living here in Chiang Mai is quite budget so customers always require
promotion to make a decision. Marketing campaign and target market are studied. Location is
evaluated. As location of restaurant is in the city center and close to Chiang Mai University, the
main target is the student. The promotion for the student has been launched and it is quite
successfully due to the revenue has been increased efficiently. Another promotion which is “4
pay 3” is quite popular for the others.

Another target that I already studies is Chinese people that travel to Chiang Mai frequently.
Promotion that has been revealed is to dealing directly with the local travel agency.
Aspect of staff issue is also one of the most important parts to dealing with in order to control the
turnover rate. As already mention above regarding competitors, it means staffs have so many
choices. The working manner and team support that provide friendly environment will reduce
the gap between each level. Provide some more benefits such as salary including meals per day,
flexible schedule working time and rotation of staff. Moreover, meeting at the end of the day
occasionally required to be held to discuss about every situation and find the problem solving
together. Finally, vacation or staff party on yearly basis to entertain and produce more
relationship among them certainly, will make them feel relax and build more encouragement.
