Philippa Hawker accepted a position with E-Depositions, LLC during a busy period where they had over 30 transcripts due within 7 days for a federal case. She had to quickly learn five software applications to process transcripts under a tight deadline. Philippa exceeded expectations by rapidly learning the varied processes needed to complete assignments on time. She also reorganized their transcript documentation into a new filing system with defined workflows. To Whom It May Concern,
I am delighted to write this recommendation for Philippa Hawker. Philippa
accepted the position of Production Specialist with E-Depositions, LLC, when we were in
the middle of completing over 30 transcripts of depositions for a single Federal case
where the required turnaround time for production was 7 days.
Ms. Hawker had to very rapidly become familiar with five software applications
to process certified transcripts in the file formats required by our clients. These ranged
from Thomson Reuters’ E-Transcript Manager, commercial transcript generation
software to spreadsheets containing detailed case data which required quality control
review of deposition documentation in multiple formats as well as data retrieval from a
manual calendaring event application. Philippa was under a high degree of pressure to
master these varied and independent processes in order to provide the support required to
meet the timelines for production. She exceeded our expectations in her ability to rapidly
learn and debug any production issue that she faced in completing her production
assignments.
Philippa also took on the assignment of re-organizing our large volume of
completed transcripts and scheduled deposition documentation into a fully defined filing
and management system. This system was fully documented by her in multiple workflow
documents.
Philippa rapidly became a valuable member of our team and we arranged to
provide her with a laptop computer to continue to remotely process transcripts for us on a
part time basis upon her return to Southern Virginia University. It was our expectation
that when she finished her senior year she would return to work at E-Depositions, LLC
before applying for Law School. It is with regret that E-Depositions, LLC had to lose
such a valued associate, however we are confident that with her operational and technical
