Ideal Education Model Essay
Education is one of the most important things for a society to prosper and be safe which forms the character and intelligence of the individuals
around the world. Education makes one able to understand what is happening in the world logically and clearly. Education enables individuals to put
their potential to use and make a difference in the future. It is essential for individuals to be educated in a way that they will expand their knowledge
vastly. An ideal educational model is very difficult to achieve, and is often argued over by people in society.
Every person in the world is unique in their own way, having their own strengths and weaknesses. Everyone has a learning style that is unique to them,
developed over time. It is absurd...show more content...
It is also very important to maintain complete respect for the student. No matter what skill level a student has they should be treated equally to all other
students. "The secret of Education lies in respecting the pupil. It is not for you to choose what he shall know, what he shall do" (Education). The student
chooses whether or not they want to be educated, one cannot force knowledge upon a student. Teachers should encourage students and provide them
the tools to learn, not force students or put them down.
In order to teach successfully teachers must learn about first learn about their students. Teachers must assess the student's capabilities and interests.
Some students are visual learners, while others learn from hands on activities, or verbal communication. Not all students can learn through
memorization, rather they learn through interest and relation to the topic. "To realize what an experience, or empirical situation, means, we have to
call to mind the sort of situation that presents itself outside of school" (Democracy and Education). The curriculum should encompass material that is
most useful for a student to learn. It seems that in the majority of schools, students are not given the flexibility to guide their own learning, but rather
follow rigid instructions that destroy the student's imagination.
Homeschooling is one pathway of education that effectively teachers each student based on their individual needs. At home there is one student, and one

English Language Learners Paper
Introduction
This paper will describe my learning experiences working with English Language Learners (ELL) who were in the first grade; the students' age
ranges were from 6 to 8 years old. The students attended an elementary school that provided a curriculum specifically to fit their learning needs; the
school develops lessons from an English only model. Restrepo & Gray (2007) suggested that English only models allow ELL students to learn lessons
only in English with teacher's aids or paraprofessionals offering occasional support to them in their native language. During my learning experience, I
will note that the classroom teacher selected various materials to demonstrate the learning activities to students. I will create lesson plans visible...show

I will discuss the day's learning objectives and with the students. According to Seifert (2017), when teachers have aims in mind, they are able to write
more detailed lesson plans with variations to the lesson. I will also discuss with students the next learning experience, which will be Science. The
activity will include the life cycle of flying bats. I will initially use a flip chart to write down words the students sang during their "brain break." I will
write down bat, dip, pad, and tub. Then, I will ask students to look at my mouth as I sound out each word. After that, students will be asked to raise
their hands and come to the flip chart to point out the word once I call them. I will make anecdotal notes of students who participated or not; students
who will not participate I will make observation if the students failed to participate because of lack of understanding or disengaged. Further, I will
prompt and reassure to make model sounds to pronounce the words. I will orally model sounds of the words with deep expression on the beginning
and ending sounds. Teachers who work with ELL students must receive inā€“depth training in attempt to understand the significance of modeling tasks

Mother : My Role Model Of My Mother
A lot of people have someone they look up to in their lives. For some people it could be a movie star, sports player, or a superhero. I do not see those
people to be true role models. My definition of a role model is someone has always been there for you and supports you throughout life. For me, the
person I admire the most would be my mother, Christine. Ever sense I could remember she has been my number one supporter. She inspires and
motivates me to grow. My mother is my role model because of how supportive she is, how hardworking she is, and how compassionate she is.
Throughout my entire life my mom has always been supporting and encouraging me. She supported me throughout all my crazy, weird phases as a
teenager. Growing up I always knew I could count on her to motivate me when I was feeling down. She has always been the one to support my
dreams when no one else did. I can remember from a really young age of my mom sitting on the sidelines of any sports game I was playing. My
mom would try to never miss a single game I was playing in. I still remember the my mom waking me up before the sun would rise, carrying all of
my equipment to the car, and driving for a few hours to make it to my next game. I still remember my mom's loud obnoxious screams of joy
whenever I scored a goal. Whenever me and my teammates won the game my mom would get all the parents to gather off the bleachers and form a
long pyramid with their hands in the air. All of my teammates and I would sprint as fast as we could through as the parents would scream with
congratulations. If my team ever lost, she always would talk with me and help encourage me to continue playing. My mom was my biggest fan and
supporter. A more recent example of my mother being nothing less of supportive is her encouragement throughout my high school years. Whenever I
had an upcoming test my mom would always help me write out flashcards and quiz me. She always motivated me to study even when I was not
feeling up to it. She always reassured me that I would do well on my upcoming tests. If it was not for her encouragement I do not think I would have
accomplished as much in high school. My mom still continues to encourage me with my schoolwork now that I am in

Athletes as Role Models Essay
True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would like to have. Role models are those who have affected us in ways that influence
us to be better people. They are people who others imitate, emulate or look to for guidance. There are good role models who inspire greatness in
others and bad role models who are bad influences. There are even antiā€“role models, pegged by the media as "bad girls" or "bad boys" who serve as
good examples of what not to do if you want to become a successful, respected person. With the majority of my time spent as an athlete throughout
high school and college, I believe athletes should pose as role models.
Athletes can be good role models in terms of demonstrating how to be professional. The...show more content...
Though professional athletes get individualized attention because of their talent, being an effective team player is a major part of their job. Off the
court or field, players engage in community service projects with fellow teammates, which also portray how working together, effectively, can achieve
an even greater goal. Many players have also established foundations that help a population for which the player has a special interest.
Many times we find that young people look up to athletes. There are countless community centers that offer different athletic programs. Many times
there are young people with endless talent and ability, striving to be just like their favorite athletes. There are a number of good athletes that display
an incredible amount of perseverance in their everyday lives. This alone serves as inspiration to young people.
When I was a kid I use to play basketball every day because of one man his name is "Michael Jordan" he was one of the greatest players in history of
the NBA. Also he inspires everyone to never give up. When he didn't make his high school team, he kept trying, illness never held him back from
the games. He made the world a better place by setting an example for others. Michael Jordan has helped in the Special Olympics. Through his
basketball career he has shown great perseverance and hard work he inspires people to work hard and always helped others. Michael Jordan always

Reflection On English Teacher
Reflection text Entering an English course after practicing as a teacher for many years are both disturbing and exiting. Disturbing, because I
challenge my own practice. How will it cope comparing to new theory and practice? Exiting, because I look forward to getting new inputs and
knowledge, and to develop myself as a teacher. The result so far is approximately as I expected. In my first years of practice I spent much time to go
through the text of the week, and to hear the pupils read aloud. Over the years I have developed my teaching including more activities were pupils are
more active and communicate directly with each other. Through these first months of the course I have realized that I have to go further down this
route. The necessity...show more content...
Meaning, as long as their pronunciation are clear and they speak with correct clauses it doesn't matter whether they speak one or another English.
I haven't been aware of this fact and have always strived for British English. As a hole I see my role as an English teacher more as a facilitator and
less the conventional teacher. When improving my teaching I think it is important to take small steps. Doing a little more or otherwise gradually.
Thereby it is easier for me incorporate, maintain and develop. By making it a routine before heading on doesn't feel like it's so much work. The
goal is to expand my toolbox of activities to be a more competent English teacher. So far, this English course have only lasted for three months, but I
have already learned a lot that challenge my way of teaching and my thinking around the subject. I have taken small steps in daily routine to
incorporate English, and I'm planning to do more. Further, have I changed my lessons to contain several activities targeting communication and
collocation, and finally, I have changed the way I look at teaching English. The disturbances I felt in the beginning is still a part of it all. Discovering
your own incompetence is never pleasant, but I believe that excitement will take its place before the course is

Essay On English Language Teaching
English Language Teaching Methods
Many countries in Asia like China, Japan, UAE, Sri Lanka, Singapore etc., adopted English as a foreign language not as a second language. Because
considering English as a second language and as a Foreign Language is different in their view point. They view that outside of the classroom, English
is not that much useful. They teach all the subjects in their mother tongue but in India if one is unable to speak in English he becomes a tabooed
person. Many Asian countries treat the pupil's age, sex, race, attitude, intelligence and grasping power in teaching English. Indian teachers neglect this
aspect. For ex: a speaker from Hyderabad emphasizes more vowels before many words because of the influence of Urdu. Straight ā€“ Istraight. And a
Bihari pronounces 'sh' as 's' because of the influence of Kharboli. Teachers don't take into consideration of this aspect and mistreat students. So teachers
have to choose the methodology as suit their classroom and environment. If teacher takes all the factors into consideration classroom becomes more
meaningful. All the methods are not meaningful when teacher choose them as per the needs of the classroom.

The Business Model Essay
The Business Model
Michael Lewis (2000: pages 256ā€“257) scoffed at the whole attempt to formalize the definition of business models when he wrote that " "Business
Model" is one of those terms of art that were central to the Internet boom: it glorifies all manner of half baked plans. All it really meant was how you
planned to make money."
In an abstract of his paper "A Mesoscopic Approach toBusiness Models: Nano Research on Management" published in "Economic Issues in China" Dr.

We wish to adopt the principle enunciated by H. Chesbrough and R. S. Rosenbloom that The Business model mediates between the technical and
economic domain:

From this descriptive model a business model can be viewed as the activity processes, which are combined and designed for generating advantage or

There are two levels of technological intervention in the Business endeavour, which we define as "technology of production" and the "technology of
trade." These two levels of technological intervention call for a reā€“evaluation of business models either for modification or for reā€“invention.
The technology of production may bring about greater efficiency in production, improving quantity or quality of

Decision Making Models Essay example
Rational Decisionā€“Making Model
Most individuals are faced with situations that necessitate excellent decisionā€“making abilities. Determining the suitable course of action to take when
faced with a difficult dilemma can be a challenge. Due to the importance of the decisionā€“making process, decisionā€“making models can be used to
establish a systematic means of developing effective decision making. One of the models has been called the "rational model" of decision
making (Stoner & Freeman, 1989). The steps laid forth below are listed as the seven steps of the rational model.
The first step of the rational decisionā€“making model is to define the problem, the need, or the opportunity. Although this may seem either petty or

This can happen because the technology decision is dictated from a higher organizational level or because the new technology is perceived as the latest
"thing" being used by "everyone." It is at this point in the process that technological gatekeepers become valuable. Information
must be gathered from vendors and other users, at trade shows and from the trade and more academic publications. If you do not fully explore and
become aware of your options, you cannot make an optimal decision.
After having clearly defined the problem, need, or opportunity and then gathering and exploring all of the relevant information and alternatives, you
must then evaluate the information and the alternatives and anticipate the consequences of the various options open to you. It is very helpful at this
point to establish objective criteria against which to compare the alternatives. This is also the point at which you need to establish the operational
criteria against which you will measure the success or failure of the choice once implemented.
The fourth step is to select the best solution based on the evaluation and analyses conducted in step 3. Once the first three steps have been completed,
this step should be relatively straightā€“forward. These four steps form the core of the rational decisionā€“making method.
The last three steps are implement the chosen

Teaching Models Of Learning
Introduction
Teaching models as proposed by Joyce and Weil (1972) are actually models of learning. These proposed models helps the students to gain knowledge,
skills, ideas, values and ways of thinking through the way they learn. The focus of applying these models in the teaching and learning process remains
on teaching students how to learn. The most valued feature of teaching models is the connection of the learning material to the real life context which in
turn supports the students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned effectively in their future endeavors. The purpose of this assignment is
to develop a practical and theoretical understanding of different teaching models and how to integrate the models in the teaching and learning process.

My family history is rather unclear and unexplored. I do know that my maternal grandmother was adopted. My paternal side is said to be Italian. I

When growing up, there is always someone there for you to look up too. From your guardians, or even your older siblings or classmates. You start
learning from those you look at and want to be like them. These people change; as does your life when you age. I have many people who inspire me
since you can't just have a sole person. The ones who inspire me truly are my own peers and friends.
My view of role models has changed greatly from when I was younger. When I was little I wanted to be like my parents and like Batman and

flaws and mistakes and take responsibility for them, as well as doing better the next time; showing how you can still be a good person and do great
things even if you mess up. You just need to learn from those mistakes.
The ones who are a large parts of my goals are my friends and peers. They isnpire me to do the things I love and achieve their feets as well. Even
when they are faced with challenges they are determined enough to overcome them and admit to the flaws they wear like battle scars. They are the
people I am growing up with and those who are already starting their next chapter. I see them and want to be like them. Strong and independent, but
humble enough to know that they will need help. Even with them being the biggest inspiration, it is hard to choose a soul inspiration. I am
inspired by my environment to be a better person; as well as by myself. I am inspired by all the people who try to do good and be their own kind of

influence of alcohol. Because of her, many other young girls may believe that drinking and driving is okay, or even cool. Role models in the media
are important because of the widespread effect they have on youth all over the world.
The influence that role models have over young people is vast and great. Role models can affect a young person's beliefs, or possibly change their
entire outlook on life. Young people may want to imitate the desirable traits they see in role models. Role models can also have an effect on one's
decisionā€“making process. The choices a young person makes in life are directly associated with his or her

Ideal Education Model Essay

  • 1. Ideal Education Model Essay Education is one of the most important things for a society to prosper and be safe which forms the character and intelligence of the individuals around the world. Education makes one able to understand what is happening in the world logically and clearly. Education enables individuals to put their potential to use and make a difference in the future. It is essential for individuals to be educated in a way that they will expand their knowledge vastly. An ideal educational model is very difficult to achieve, and is often argued over by people in society. Every person in the world is unique in their own way, having their own strengths and weaknesses. Everyone has a learning style that is unique to them, developed over time. It is absurd...show more content... It is also very important to maintain complete respect for the student. No matter what skill level a student has they should be treated equally to all other students. "The secret of Education lies in respecting the pupil. It is not for you to choose what he shall know, what he shall do" (Education). The student chooses whether or not they want to be educated, one cannot force knowledge upon a student. Teachers should encourage students and provide them the tools to learn, not force students or put them down. In order to teach successfully teachers must learn about first learn about their students. Teachers must assess the student's capabilities and interests. Some students are visual learners, while others learn from hands on activities, or verbal communication. Not all students can learn through memorization, rather they learn through interest and relation to the topic. "To realize what an experience, or empirical situation, means, we have to call to mind the sort of situation that presents itself outside of school" (Democracy and Education). The curriculum should encompass material that is most useful for a student to learn. It seems that in the majority of schools, students are not given the flexibility to guide their own learning, but rather follow rigid instructions that destroy the student's imagination. Homeschooling is one pathway of education that effectively teachers each student based on their individual needs. At home there is one student, and one Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. English Language Learners Paper Introduction This paper will describe my learning experiences working with English Language Learners (ELL) who were in the first grade; the students' age ranges were from 6 to 8 years old. The students attended an elementary school that provided a curriculum specifically to fit their learning needs; the school develops lessons from an English only model. Restrepo & Gray (2007) suggested that English only models allow ELL students to learn lessons only in English with teacher's aids or paraprofessionals offering occasional support to them in their native language. During my learning experience, I will note that the classroom teacher selected various materials to demonstrate the learning activities to students. I will create lesson plans visible...show more content... I will discuss the day's learning objectives and with the students. According to Seifert (2017), when teachers have aims in mind, they are able to write more detailed lesson plans with variations to the lesson. I will also discuss with students the next learning experience, which will be Science. The activity will include the life cycle of flying bats. I will initially use a flip chart to write down words the students sang during their "brain break." I will write down bat, dip, pad, and tub. Then, I will ask students to look at my mouth as I sound out each word. After that, students will be asked to raise their hands and come to the flip chart to point out the word once I call them. I will make anecdotal notes of students who participated or not; students who will not participate I will make observation if the students failed to participate because of lack of understanding or disengaged. Further, I will prompt and reassure to make model sounds to pronounce the words. I will orally model sounds of the words with deep expression on the beginning and ending sounds. Teachers who work with ELL students must receive inā€“depth training in attempt to understand the significance of modeling tasks for students (Goldenberg, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Mother : My Role Model Of My Mother A lot of people have someone they look up to in their lives. For some people it could be a movie star, sports player, or a superhero. I do not see those people to be true role models. My definition of a role model is someone has always been there for you and supports you throughout life. For me, the person I admire the most would be my mother, Christine. Ever sense I could remember she has been my number one supporter. She inspires and motivates me to grow. My mother is my role model because of how supportive she is, how hardworking she is, and how compassionate she is. Throughout my entire life my mom has always been supporting and encouraging me. She supported me throughout all my crazy, weird phases as a teenager. Growing up I always knew I could count on her to motivate me when I was feeling down. She has always been the one to support my dreams when no one else did. I can remember from a really young age of my mom sitting on the sidelines of any sports game I was playing. My mom would try to never miss a single game I was playing in. I still remember the my mom waking me up before the sun would rise, carrying all of my equipment to the car, and driving for a few hours to make it to my next game. I still remember my mom's loud obnoxious screams of joy whenever I scored a goal. Whenever me and my teammates won the game my mom would get all the parents to gather off the bleachers and form a long pyramid with their hands in the air. All of my teammates and I would sprint as fast as we could through as the parents would scream with congratulations. If my team ever lost, she always would talk with me and help encourage me to continue playing. My mom was my biggest fan and supporter. A more recent example of my mother being nothing less of supportive is her encouragement throughout my high school years. Whenever I had an upcoming test my mom would always help me write out flashcards and quiz me. She always motivated me to study even when I was not feeling up to it. She always reassured me that I would do well on my upcoming tests. If it was not for her encouragement I do not think I would have accomplished as much in high school. My mom still continues to encourage me with my schoolwork now that I am in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Athletes as Role Models Essay True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would like to have. Role models are those who have affected us in ways that influence us to be better people. They are people who others imitate, emulate or look to for guidance. There are good role models who inspire greatness in others and bad role models who are bad influences. There are even antiā€“role models, pegged by the media as "bad girls" or "bad boys" who serve as good examples of what not to do if you want to become a successful, respected person. With the majority of my time spent as an athlete throughout high school and college, I believe athletes should pose as role models. Athletes can be good role models in terms of demonstrating how to be professional. The...show more content... Though professional athletes get individualized attention because of their talent, being an effective team player is a major part of their job. Off the court or field, players engage in community service projects with fellow teammates, which also portray how working together, effectively, can achieve an even greater goal. Many players have also established foundations that help a population for which the player has a special interest. Many times we find that young people look up to athletes. There are countless community centers that offer different athletic programs. Many times there are young people with endless talent and ability, striving to be just like their favorite athletes. There are a number of good athletes that display an incredible amount of perseverance in their everyday lives. This alone serves as inspiration to young people. When I was a kid I use to play basketball every day because of one man his name is "Michael Jordan" he was one of the greatest players in history of the NBA. Also he inspires everyone to never give up. When he didn't make his high school team, he kept trying, illness never held him back from the games. He made the world a better place by setting an example for others. Michael Jordan has helped in the Special Olympics. Through his basketball career he has shown great perseverance and hard work he inspires people to work hard and always helped others. • 5. Reflection On English Teacher Reflection text Entering an English course after practicing as a teacher for many years are both disturbing and exiting. Disturbing, because I challenge my own practice. How will it cope comparing to new theory and practice? Exiting, because I look forward to getting new inputs and knowledge, and to develop myself as a teacher. The result so far is approximately as I expected. In my first years of practice I spent much time to go through the text of the week, and to hear the pupils read aloud. Over the years I have developed my teaching including more activities were pupils are more active and communicate directly with each other. Through these first months of the course I have realized that I have to go further down this route. The necessity...show more content... Meaning, as long as their pronunciation are clear and they speak with correct clauses it doesn't matter whether they speak one or another English. I haven't been aware of this fact and have always strived for British English. As a hole I see my role as an English teacher more as a facilitator and less the conventional teacher. When improving my teaching I think it is important to take small steps. Doing a little more or otherwise gradually. Thereby it is easier for me incorporate, maintain and develop. By making it a routine before heading on doesn't feel like it's so much work. The goal is to expand my toolbox of activities to be a more competent English teacher. So far, this English course have only lasted for three months, but I have already learned a lot that challenge my way of teaching and my thinking around the subject. I have taken small steps in daily routine to incorporate English, and I'm planning to do more. Further, have I changed my lessons to contain several activities targeting communication and collocation, and finally, I have changed the way I look at teaching English. The disturbances I felt in the beginning is still a part of it all. Discovering your own incompetence is never pleasant, but I believe that excitement will take its place before the course is Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay On English Language Teaching English Language Teaching Methods Many countries in Asia like China, Japan, UAE, Sri Lanka, Singapore etc., adopted English as a foreign language not as a second language. Because considering English as a second language and as a Foreign Language is different in their view point. They view that outside of the classroom, English is not that much useful. They teach all the subjects in their mother tongue but in India if one is unable to speak in English he becomes a tabooed person. Many Asian countries treat the pupil's age, sex, race, attitude, intelligence and grasping power in teaching English. Indian teachers neglect this aspect. For ex: a speaker from Hyderabad emphasizes more vowels before many words because of the influence of Urdu. Straight ā€“ Istraight. And a Bihari pronounces 'sh' as 's' because of the influence of Kharboli. Teachers don't take into consideration of this aspect and mistreat students. So teachers have to choose the methodology as suit their classroom and environment. If teacher takes all the factors into consideration classroom becomes more meaningful. All the methods are not meaningful when teacher choose them as per the needs of the classroom. Methods of English Language Teaching...show more content... Sometimes more than one method is used to bring out the anticipated outcomes in the language classroom where communication develops the key factor of teachingā€“learning process. Unless students learn to utilise the classroom method to express thoughts and feelings outside into the real world situations, the learning cannot be effective no matter whatever teaching method is applied in English as a Second Language classroom. • 7. The Business Model Essay The Business Model Michael Lewis (2000: pages 256ā€“257) scoffed at the whole attempt to formalize the definition of business models when he wrote that " "Business Model" is one of those terms of art that were central to the Internet boom: it glorifies all manner of half baked plans. They are the people I am growing up with and those who are already starting their next chapter. I see them and want to be like them. Strong and independent, but humble enough to know that they will need help. Even with them being the biggest inspiration, it is hard to choose a soul inspiration. I am inspired by my environment to be a better person; as well as by myself. I am inspired by all the people who try to do good and be their own kind of hero.
