Tasks:
I. Responsible for checking signals between Control System (DCS) to Full
condensing Steam Turbine (120MW X 2 ) Boiler, cooling Water and Steam
Cycle (HP AND LP Bypass System),FD and PA fan ,ID FAN and Balance of
Plant devices
II. Responsible for testing the functionality and protections, as well as tuning
and optimizing the Full condensing Steam Turbine (120MW X 2 )
Boiler, cooling Water and Steam Cycle (HP AND LP Bypass System),FD
and PA fan ,ID FAN ,Coal Feeder and Balance of Plant devices
a) Studying vendor supplied logic diagrams.
b) Developing Logic using MAX Tool.
c) Developing HMI Screens using MAX Editor .
d) IO downloads for IO panels .
e) Making report for IO downloads .
f) Forcing IO’s and checking the status in screens.
g) Preparing documentation for logics and screens developed
h) Reading of Process and Instrumentation Diagram.
i) Review of Commissioning sequence and plan, development of detailed
commissioning procedures for leak test, steam turbine solo run, gas
turbine solo run, DCS loop checking, DCS, ESD and PLC logic test, test
forms and Ready for Start-up for systems. In collaboration with others
departments and vendor’s representatives, where necessary, convert
vendors procedures, check list and forms for commissioning accordingly to
company commissioning plan, submission to management for approval,
j) Organize and supervise client assigned teams, of 4-6 persons, for carry out
of commissioning test such as DCS&ESD logic test, dryers
k) Support vendor’s representative to carry of commissioning test and during
start-up.
l) Review, update and develop detailed start-up sequence, procedures and
operating manuals
m) Advising and support client operation team for preparation of unit for
start-up, during start-up and normal operation. Suggest for best practice
and where necessary on job training,
- Preparation and update of commissioning progress reports, minutes of
meetings.
