2. Find My HIA
• Find My HIA is the online database of accredited HIAs in
England
• The site has been upgraded in 2018 to allow HIAs to:
• Login and customise their listing
• Add extra information, e.g. social media links
• Post case studies and photos
• Receive referrals directly
• Receive and share reviews
The idea is for the site to be a shop window for the HIA sector

3. Claim my listing?
• All accredited HIAs have been listed with the information on
the previous version of findmyhia
• To "claim" and customise your listing follow the instructions on
the following slides

4. Find your listing Search for a local
authority where you work

5. View your listing

7. Choose a plan
Start with Basic – it's free
and always will be

8. Enter an email and password
After doing this you will
be sent an email asking
you to confirm your
account details.
If it doesn't arrive in 5
minutes, check your
spam or junk folder.

9. Dashboard This is what you see
when you first log in.
Update your contact
details first

10. Enter contact details
Enter the name of the
main contact (this doesn't
appear on the listing)
Choose top category:
Home Improvement
Agency and scroll down to
add other details. Click
"Save" at the bottom of
the page

11. Enter Listing Details
On this screen you can
enter more details about
your services including
the council areas where
you operate. Don't forget
to click save!
