2 - Please explain your overall satisfaction with Paul Rowland's teaching in this unit.Your comments should provide constructive, direct feedback to the staff

• Excellent. active, supportive, sense of humour! Great Feedback provided in assessments - so for me in the first assessment I got a HD the second one I got a D but the feedback told me exactly what
was needed to jump the HD so very very helpful! Thanks Paul great unit loved the lesson plans at the end so much I implemented the Early childhood one in my family day care!
• Great support and feedback
• Great teacher. Gives excellent feedback and very supportive
• I found that Paul was clear with any guidance. All feedback on assignments were clear and supportive. Thankyou for the help!
• I have enjoyed Science and technology immensely. When I first started this unit I was a bit apprehensive knowing it is one of the hardest in the course. Thanks to Paul for his full support and clear
instruction, he has helped me achieve success and understanding in my learning.
• It is clear Paul carries a positive and influential attitude towards the teaching of science. He made the unit interesting and encouraged those who may have not been interested in science, excited to
learn. I enjoyed reading his comments in my assessments, they were very constructive.
• Paul has been amazingly helpful this teaching period. He made me feel valued through my discussion board contributions, and his passion for the subject re-ignited my love for science. He always
responded promptly both to the discussion board and to emails, and his information was always clear to understand and helped me immensely. His feedback on assessments was constructive and
offered relevance to the following assessments so that I was able to improve in areas that I had struggled with. Paul has been one of the best ELAs in my experience with Swinburne Online. I cannot
fault him.
• Paul has been an excellent eLA! Enthusiastic, encouraging and supportive, as well as knowledgeable. He has made this unit a great experience -- thanks Paul!
• Paul has been great at understanding and explaining questions that arose from all students across the DB board. The way that Paul answered questions made me think of aspects of learning
materials and assessments through a different perspective and really broke down the requirements in depth. One way that Paul went into depth with his answers was the way that he gave examples.
EG) for the first assessment, he gave like 2 or 3 examples of how to structure the report and then encouraged us to think of our own way. I also appreciate how fast he replied to emails and questions
on the DB board. He is empathetic and this makes us as students feel at ease with doing uni by correspondent.
• Paul has been one of the best ELA's I have had.
• Paul has been the most helpful and on point ELA i have had since starting uni. i am very pleased with his level of dedication to his job and the amount of support he has provided me during this
teaching period. keep up the good work and continue to be an outstanding ELA to all students. you have made online learning so much easier for myself and i'm sure many other students.
• Paul is a great eLA. always seems so happy! happy to help, answer questions and emails! :-)
• Paul was a fantastic eLA, from his responses on the discussion board to the feedback on assessments, I found him to be clear, support my learning and extended my understanding further. He had a
really warm manner on the DB, and it felt like I was talking directly to him.
• Paul was fantastic to have as an Ela. Very helpful, understanding and informative.
• Rating of 10 in all aspects for Paul! I do not have any constructive feedback as he does not need to change anything. He is very supportive, he does provides students with positive feedback on
assessments, he is prompt in his email replies and often funny. Students that have Paul for Science and Technology are very lucky as it made what could of been a bit of a boring subject so much more
engaging. He is vibrant in his teaching and you can see how passionate he is. I just could go on and on about how great he is!! Please be good to Paul so he stays with Swinburne to continue teaching
the pre service teachers of the future. Teachers need to learn from amazing supportive teachers so we can see the kind of teachers we want to be!
• Such a friendly, helpful & humble ELA - always replied to emails promptly and his replies were always so uplifting! Loved having him as an ELA!
• Very constructive information

Very helpful, understanding and informative. • Rating of 10 in all aspects for Paul! I do not have any constructive feedback as he does not need to change anything. He is very supportive, he does provides students with positive feedback on assessments, he is prompt in his email replies and often funny. Students that have Paul for Science and Technology are very lucky as it made what could of been a bit of a boring subject so much more engaging. He is vibrant in his teaching and you can see how passionate he is. I just could go on and on about how great he is!! Please be good to Paul so he stays with Swinburne to continue teaching the pre service teachers of the future. Teachers need to learn from amazing supportive teachers so we can see the kind of teachers we want to be! • Such a friendly, helpful & humble ELA - always replied to emails promptly and his replies were always so uplifting!
