This document announces a panel discussion at the Online Retailer Conference focused on maximizing customer experience through data and insights. The panel will include leaders from NORA Network, Estee Lauder Companies, Greenlit Brands, IKEA, and THE ICONIC. They will discuss effectively analyzing customer data to provide targeted propositions, drawing insights from data to understand customer value, and applying predictive analytics across the customer lifecycle. The breakfast event will take place on July 24th prior to the opening of the Online Retailer expo.

focus on how to maximise customer experience through leveraging data and customer insights.
Paul is the founder of the NORA Network, a peak retail
body established around four years ago. Prior to that he
was the co- founder of DealsDirect, a pioneer online
retailer in Australia. Paul has had an entrepreneurial/
retail related career spanning nearly four decades. He is
a registered psychologist with a keen interest in
organisational psychology. Outside of his NORA role,
Paul holds a portfolio of advisory and investment roles,
including in dynamic retail tech businesses like Afterpay.
Katherine is responsible for driving the eCommerce and
omni-channel strategies for a portfolio of 8 brands,
including Estee Lauder, Clinique and M.A.C across 9
brand-owned e-commerce sites over Australia & New
Zealand, as well with 11 online retailer partners.
Katherine has been actively involved in the online space
for 20 years, holding various management positions
previously with Sony and IBM. Her passion accelerating
the growth and transformation of online businesses, with
a track record in delivering rapid sales-driving projects
and developing committed, high-performing teams.
Cat is a CDO and CIO with deep expertise in developing
cross-brand and multi-channel Customer Experience
(Cx), digital and eCommerce strategy plans and
roadmaps. Passionate about digital products, rewards
and loyalty programs, data intelligence, digital
architecture, eCommerce marketplaces, product
master data and defensible technology strategies that
improve Customer Experience (Cx) and drive incremental
sales.
Michael leads IKEA’s multichannel transformation in
Australia. Looking after expansion planning, new store
formats, eCommerce, web & digital as well as
multichannel initiatives, Michael’s role will transform
IKEA into a retailer that supports customers across all
channels and provides a great shopping experience
wherever and whenever a customer engages with IKEA.
Michael has had broad experience in IKEA covering
Logistics, Store Operations and Projects as well as a
background in Manufacturing and Wholesale.
Alexander Meyer is a user-centric and innovation-driven
Chief Marketing Officer with an entrepreneurial spirit.
He has collected his main experiences in youth culture,
brand marketing, digital user experience, strategic
planning and leadership. Alex has gained international
work experience in global, regional and local business
environments, with a steady focus on bridging the
intersection between brand, product and sales. Alex has
worked for large consumer brands such as adidas and
Vans, as well as running his own creative branding
agency and working with and in small tech startups.
