Dear Mr. Hilpert:
I am writing because I am interested in your Spring-Summer Internship for Game
Day Operations/Events. I heard about your internships at the St. Johns University Career
Fair. I talked to Marie Letterii about the internships you had available. I am applying
because I am very passionate about lacrosse and have experience playing it.
Upon viewing your posting, I noticed you are looking for a candidate to be
responsible for pre-game setup and post-game breakdown. As a Game Day Field
Operator at Utica College, I was responsible for setting up and picking up equipment
before and after the game. I also noted you are looking for a candidate to interact with the
crowd. At Utica during games, I would regularly interact with the crowd to provide game
information and other content and similarly, as Pool Attendant at Utica Youth Bureau,
my tasks included routine communication and engagement with patrons.
I believe my skills are well suited to the available position and also that there is
much I will learn from this experience. I can be reached by email at
Patrick.spatuzzi@gmail.com or by phone at (315) 790-7373. Thank you for your time
and consideration.
Sincerely,
Patrick Spatuzzi
