STANFORD CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA 2007 – 2015
Administrative Director – Support Services: Hired to develop Support Services team for Stanford
Children’s Hospital Coordinated Staffing, Planning, Capital and Operating Budget Management. Managed
and tracked group through key operating indicators to meet hospital objectives. Responsible for
maintaining and operating the facility on a 24/7 basis.
Contributions:
Established metrics based key operating indicators to support organization goals
Led key innovation and process improvement strategies including:
o Developed waste stream plan that reduced waste cost per pound
o Centralized vehicle fleet program saving over 300k on annual budget
Developed patient equipment management department that reduced equipment delivered to
clinicians from 45 minutes to less than 30 minutes
Developed strategic capital and asset plans allowing finance to better forecast funding and
durable medical equipment purchase
Developed Just In Time delivery service for patient equipment stored offsite. Allowed for
specific equipment to be stored offsite in order to maintain clear corridors and path of egress to
