Purpose
The student identifies words related to days of the week, months and seasons of the year throughout
the observation of main dates in a calendar in order to express important activities taking place at the
university life.
Competencies
• To Identify, name and practice the days of the week, months of the year and seasons by
solving a set of exercises in order to express particular dates or occasions.

Introduction
Do you know what the week and weekend days are? When do you take vacations? In this section, you
will distinguish and practice the vocabulary referred to days, months and seasons as a complement of
what you are studying in class with a variety of activities. Hope you enjoy it!

a) Create your own personal yearly calendar. Add the most important activities or celebrations you
have in the year.
b) Make a voice recording or a video describing your calendar including the vocabulary and the
structures practiced in this resource. You can use your mobile phone, the “Audacity” software at

c) Finally, upload the file to the forum of the class.
