2. INTRODUCTION
The kerala co-operative milk marketing federation (KCMMF) know by it’s trade name milma . Is a
state government cooperative society established in 1980 headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram
.Milma is a state government cooperative owned by the Ministry of corporation, Government of
Kerala . The objective includes To channelise marketable surplus milk from the rural areas to urban
deficit areas to maximize the returns to the producer and provide quality milk and milk products to
the consumers.To carryout activities for promoting Production, Procurement, Processing and
Marketing of milk and milk products for economic development of the farming community To build
up a viable dairy industry in the State.
LOCATION
Wayanad dairy is located at chuzhali, kalpetta in wayanad district was established on 9th
October
2008. The dairy is located 1 ½ kilometres far from the town.
EMPLOYEE DETAILS
Selection of the employees is done by the HRD officer.In the industry permanant , contract,
and fixed period embloyees are working. The salary of the employees is dealing by the
finance department.

CONSTRUCTION
The foundation is laid and the building is constructed on a 40000 sq.ft. The labourers
required for the construction process are around 80 persons. The time required for the
construction is 6 months, where an engineer works planning the layout for 15 days. The list

13. CONCLUSION
At the end of the project we got an idea about the dairy industry. The total construction
cost of the dairy is above 24 crore and for the working of the dairy they require lots of
amounts in a year that includes the salary of the embloyees, stationary purchase,
epuipment maintenance and etc.
