2. Semi automatic car parking
In this semi automatic car parking , car parks with helps of
puzzle parking system
In this semi automatic car parking ,it consist of 8 modules in
the area in which each module consist of 6 level of parking
car
The capacity of single module is 44 cars and the total capacity
of car parking is 352 cars
In this parking there is also have parking for two wheeler
vehicles which is of 162 vehicles
All the cars are parked by operators which are present 24
hours.
All work is done by systematic way from entrance to exit.
3. PUZZLE PARKING
The puzzle parking system is a car parking system with a mechanical device that
multiplies parking capacity inside a parking lot. Parking systems are generally
powered by electric motors that move vehicles into a storage position . There are
two types of car parking systems: traditional and automated. In the long term,
automated car parking systems are likely to be more cost effective when
compared to traditional parking garage s. Automated car parking systems use a
similar type of technology to that used for mechanical parcel handling and
document retrieval. The driver leaves the car inside an entrance area and
technology parks the vehicle at a designated area. Mechanical car lifters raise the
vehicle to another level for proper storing. The vehicle can be transported
vertically (up or down) and horizontally (left and right) to a vacant parking space
until the car is needed again. When the vehicle is needed, the process is reversed
and the car lifts transport the vehicle back to the same area where the driver left
it. In some cases, a turntable may be used to position the car so that the driver
can conveniently drive away without the need to back up.
6. Programming logic control ( plc)
How PLCs Work
A programmable logic controller is a specialized computer used to control
machines and processes. It therefore shares common terms with typical
PCs like central processing unit, memory, software and
communications. Unlike a personal computer though the PLC is designed
to survive in a rugged industrial atmosphere and to be very flexible in
how it interfaces with inputs and outputs to the real world.
The components that make a PLC work can be divided into three core
areas.
The power supply and rack
The central processing unit (CPU)
The input/output (I/O) section
PLCs come in many shapes and sizes. They can be so small as to fit in
your shirt pocket while more involved controls systems require large PLC
racks. Smaller PLCs (a.k.a. “bricks”) are typically designed with fixed I/O
points. For our consideration, we’ll look at the more modular rack based
systems. It’s called “modular” because the rack can accept many
different types of I/O modules that simply slide into the rack and plug in.
7. Basic elements of a PLC include input modules or points, a Central Processing
Unit (CPU), output modules or points, and a programming device
8. Human machine interface (HMI)
A Human-Machine Interface (HMI) is a user interface or dashboard that
connects a person to a machine, system, or device. While the term can
technically be applied to any screen that allows a user to interact with a
device, HMI is most commonly used in the context of an industrial process .
Although HMI is the most common term for this technology, it is sometime In
industrial settings, HMIs can be used to : Visually display data Track
production time, trends
9. Car Parking Pallet
Puzzle Parking, is a semi automated system featuring combination pallets that
enable horizontal and vertical movement of parking spots just like a puzzle to
park and retrieve cars. A semi automatic independent system, it can be easily
configured and customized to any property.
Each pallet have the capacity of loading max 2000 kg of car
Easy car parking / retrieval with the pallet moving automatically ascent /
decent (Left, right, up and down)
Quite simple operation
High safety with safety device equipped
10. .
Upper and lower pallets repeatedly move vertically and horizontally to move
vehicles in and out. Depending on site condition, continuous installation of units are
possible with simple installation and maintenance.
Special Features
It offers utmost use of space.
It offers quick vehicle in and out time.
11. Pallet main parts
1F,2F,3F trolleys consist of four roller on the four edges of the trolley where
two are V shape roller which help to stabilize the trolley during motion and
two are simple plain roller used to alignment of the trolley when Ever there is
a thermal expansion and contraction in the roller
The trolley move vertically with the help of cable consist of 10mm diameter ,
which is connected to the motor chain with the help of Knuckle joint .
When the motor rotates at some speed then the cable which subjected to
trolley with pully at four ends . The trolley start moving up and down with the
help of motor
Types of motor used
1. 0.6 kw
2. 2.2 kw
3. 3.4 kw
13. ,
There are different types
Of motors used for different
Heights
0.4kw Motor is used for
horizontal movement
2.2kw motor is used for
vertical movement In low
height
3.7kw motor is used for vertical movement
Of High height
14. Working of Roller shaft Through motor
synchronous motor is connected through a roller shaft with the help
of chain , sprocket is joined on the roller shaft and on motor too,
which helps to rotate the shaft without slipping. When the motor rotates at
some speed then the roller at the both ends start rotating at same speed in
which one end roller is v Grove roller and the other is simple plane roller
which help in the alignment of the pallet .
15. Sensor
This sensor Checks the movement of any device
When something moves inside the module this sensor senses and stops the
operation
16. Cam switch (sensor)
Cam switch or cam sensor is attach with the motor of the pallet when motor
rotates to ove the pallet in the horizontal or vertical moment of the pallet
then in cam , the switches inside the cam switch start moving to left or the
right direction
If the cam switch off it means the operation is working perfect .
the cam switch turn ON due to the pallet moment is about to cross the peak
position then the whole operation stop
17. Structure
Braced frames
Braced frames are a very common form of construction, being economic to
construct and simple to analyse. nominally pinned connections between
beams and columns. Bracing, which provides stability and resists lateral load
e'. In braced construction, beams and columns are designed under vertical
load only, assuming the bracing system carries all lateral loads.
18. . A bracing system is a secondary but essential part of a
structure. A bracing system serves to stabilize the main
girders during construction, to contribute to the
distribution of load effects and to provide restraint to
compression flanges or chords where they would
otherwise be free to buckle laterally.
19. Bearing
Ball bearing
A bearing is a machine element that constrains relative motion to only the
desired motion, and reduces friction between moving parts. The design of the
bearing may, for example, provide for free linear movement of the moving part
or for free rotation around a fixed axis; or, it may prevent a motion by controlling
the vectors of normal forces that bear on the moving parts. Most bearings
facilitate the desired motion by minimizing friction. Bearings are classified
broadly according to the type of operation, the motions allowed, or to the
directions of the loads (forces) applied to the parts.
20. Bearing
F213 Four Bolt Flange Housing For 120MM OD Bearings
This four bolt flange housing fits insert bearings with 120mm OD curved outer race.
This housing is cast iron and has a shallow depth to be used with SA, SB and UC insert
bearings. The housing includes a grease fitting for lubricating re-lube style bearings.
Diminisions :

Bolt hole: .748 in. (19mm)
21. Wires used pallet
Steel wire rope are used to lift the Pallet
steel wire rope is of 10mm
There are 4 ropes in 1pallet
Equal size of ropes used in same pallet
Sizes of rope varies according to the Hight of pallet
